Since October 2025, Guangdong has entered the peak season for migratory birds arriving to overwinter. Rare species such as the black-faced spoonbill, Oriental stork and relict gull have been spotted frequently across Guangdong.Monitoring data show that more than 300,000 migratory birds spent the 2025 autumn–winter season in the province, with several locations reporting new bird sighting records.

2025年10月以来，南粤大地迎来候鸟迁徙越冬高峰，黑脸琵鹭、东方白鹳、遗鸥等珍稀物种频繁现身。监测数据显示，全省2025年秋冬越冬候鸟超30万只，多地刷新鸟类新纪录。
