From December 27 to 28th, the autumn edition of the large-scale comprehensive job fair "Millions of Talents Gather in Guangdong" opened in Shenzhen. Bringing together the recruitment forces of all 21 cities across Guangdong and linking talent resources from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, the event featured 1,825 key employers offering more than 65,000 good jobs. It extended a sincere invitation to talents from across China and abroad—"Opportunities abound in Guangdong, no matter where you're from." Over 120,000 students from more than 1,700  universities at home and abroad registered to participate.

Industry leaders such as Huawei, Tencent, BYD, and X Peng took part with core openings, while top scientific research institutions including the Peng Cheng Laboratory and Guangzhou Laboratory actively recruited research talents. Specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises and unicorn companies brought forward opportunities in cutting‑edge fields. Nearly half of all positions offer annual salaries above 200,000 yuan; over 4,000 positions pay between 500,000 and one million yuan; and more than600 positions exceedone million yuan, with salary packages for PhD, postdoctoral, and leading talent positions open for negotiation and with no upper limit.

The event also set up a dedicated "APEC Talent Matching Zone" on-site, featuring 34 foreign‑funded enterprises from APEC economies and China‑based globalizing companies in Guangdong, offering over 2,000 high‑end international positions.

In the career consultation zone, experts provided one‑on‑one resume guidance, and professional headshot and styling services helped job seekers polish their applications. Since December, Shenzhen has rolled out a series of strong talent‑support policies, including transitional housing at 60 percent of market rent, monthly housing allowances of 1,000 yuan (after tax), and free accommodation for up to 15 days in the city's "Youth Community".
