The 2025 Guangzhou International Light Festival concluded on the evening of November 26th. By the night of the 26th, a total of 1.4 million visits had been recorded from citizens and tourists visiting the main venues at Huacheng Square and Haixinsha. Since its opening on November 16th, the 2025 Guangzhou International Light Festival has goneviral across major social media platforms. Highlights included the return of the Aoyu lantern that drew attention during the 15th National Games, lively appearances by the Games mascots, and the first-ever joint light show presented by Canton Tower and the Eastand West towersthat delivered an immersive light-and-shadow experience to the public.

A light installation titled "Du Zhan Ao Tou"(standing alone above the Aoyu's head)stood out for its unique blend of cultural symbolism and technological innovation, winning widespread acclaim and shining on the opening ceremony of the 15th National Games. Inspired by Aoyu, the transitional form of "fish transforming into dragon" in the traditional Lingnan folk tales, the installation transcended traditional static lantern art. By combining a helium suspension system, bionic mechanical structures, and precise human-operated rigging, the giant Aoyu appeared to "swim" and "flip" through the air, producing a dreamy "flying Aoyu" effect.

The mascots for the 15th National Games, "Xiyangyang" and "Lerongrong",made lively appearances on the water stageof Haixinsha. During the parade, they danced to a live band, tap-danced, twirled, and casually sat and rose again…a series of playful interactions that instantly won the hearts of citizens and visitors. 2025年广州国际灯光节于11月26日晚正式闭幕。据介绍，截至26日晚，到花城广场、海心沙主会场游览的市民游客共计140万人次，相关话题网络曝光量突破2.6亿次。

自11月16日开幕以来，2025年广州国际灯光节在各大社交平台刷屏出圈。全运会顶流“鳌鱼”惊艳返场、吉祥物萌动花城以及首次联动的广州塔与东西双塔灯光秀等，为观众带来沉浸式的光影体验。

作品“独占鳌头”凭借其独特的文化意蕴与科技融合创新脱颖而出，广受好评，并在全运会开幕式上大放异彩。其创作灵感源自岭南传统民俗中“鱼化龙”的过渡形态——鳌鱼。作品突破传统灯艺的静态呈现，通过氦气悬浮系统、仿生机械结构与精准人工牵引技术的三维联动，让巨型鳌鱼在空中实现自由游弋、翻转的“飞天鳌鱼”梦幻效果。

第十五届全运会吉祥物“喜洋洋”“乐融融”蹦蹦跳跳出现在海心沙水舞台，巡游途中，它们更与乐队默契配合，踢踏舞、转圈圈、就地蹲坐……一系列花式互动瞬间“融化”了市民游客的心，现场欢呼声不绝于耳。
