On November 4th, the 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) concluded in Guangzhou. A record-breaking 310,000 overseas buyers from 223 countries and regions attended, achieving on-site intended export transactions of 25.65 billion US dollars.

Walking through the exhibition halls, the most striking impression is that "Made in China"is pressing the fast-forward button toward "Intelligent Manufacturing in China."In the past, buyers attended the fair to seek cost-effective single products.Today, however, AI empowerment, innovative and intelligent manufacturing, green and low-carbon development, and high-end customization have become the key themes across all three phases. Among the 4.6 million products, new products,green items and products with independent intellectual property rights accounted for 23.3%, 23.5%, and 23.9%, respectively. These figures signify not just a numerical leap, but a qualitative shift in value.Coffee-making robots now act as "baristas,"drawing large crowds of buyers to place orders on site. Robotic vacuum cleaner shave emerged as the latest export sensation, with intended deal sreaching over 1 million yuan on the first day.

Another notable change is that buyers are no longer satisfied with purchasing single products. Instead, they seek partners capable of providing comprehensive solutions. For example, GAC Group's integrated photovoltaic storage, charging, and battery-swapping technology,which repurposes retired batteries into energy storage equipment, has attracted inquiries from many buyers.
From the debut of a smart healthcare zone, to embodied intelligent robots designed for diverse scenarios, and to thoughtful services such as departure tax refund sand cross-border payments, the Canton Fair brims with innovation and intelligence. Through the "report card" of this fair, what we see is not only the surging tide of new trends, but also a profound shift in the value of China's foreign trade.

广交会“新潮”奔涌,折射中国外贸“价值之变”
11月4日,第138届广交会在广州落下帷幕。本届广交会共有来自223个国家和地区的超31万名境外采购商到会,现场意向出口成交256.5亿美元。
漫步展馆,最直观的感受就是“中国制造”正在集体按下“智造”快进键。过去,采购商们来广交会是寻找性价比高的单品;如今,AI赋能、创新智造、绿色低碳、高端定制成为贯穿三期的关键词。460万件展品中,新产品、绿色产品和自主知识产权产品分别占23.3%、23.5%、23.9%。这不仅是数字的跃升,更是价值内涵的质变。咖啡机器人忙成“主理人”,吸引大批采购商现场下单;扫地机器人成为出海新顶流,首日便收获超7位数人民币的意向订单。
另一个显著的变化是,采购商不再满足于单一产品的采购,而是希望找到能够提供整体解决方案的合作伙伴。比如,广汽集团的光储充换一体化技术,通过电池梯次利用技术将退役电池转化为储能设备,吸引了诸多采购商咨询。
从首次增设智慧医疗专区,到适配多场景的具身智能机器人,再到离境退税、跨境支付等贴心服务,广交会的“新”与“智”无处不在。透过广交会的“成绩单”,我们看到的不仅是奔涌的“新潮”,更是中国外贸深刻的“价值之变”。
