On October 7th, the "2025 Folk Culture Parade Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Dragon Boat Rededication at the Great Sage Equaling Heaven Temple in Shangjiashi" was held in Ronggui Subdistrict, Shunde District, Foshan.

In Shunde, dragon boats can be seen both on the water and on land. With rapid urbanization, many local waterways have been transformed into roads. To preserve the traditional dragon boat customs during the Dragon Boat Festival, the people of Shunde have adapted the traditional dragon boat for land use, scaling it down and adding wheels or mounting it on vehicles so that it can move on land. Therefore, this type of dragon boat is named "onshore dragon boat" or "dry-land dragon boat". The onshore dragon boat follows traditional proportions in miniature (about 1.5 to 3 meters long), retaining key components such as the dragon head, dragon tail, dragon plaque, and traditional decorative umbrellas. Some onshore dragon boats are also adorned with decorations like gongs, drums, and command flags, boasting exquisite designs and bright colors.

This parade featured about eight onshore dragon boats and one onshore phoenix boat, with spectacular dragon and lion dance performances along the route. The grand parade and diverse performances vividly showcased the profound folk cultural heritage of Ronggui Subdistrict.

逐龙行，接好运！顺德容桂举行“岸龙”民俗文化巡游

10月7日，“2025年上佳市齐天大圣庙龙舟重光十周年民俗文化巡游活动”在佛山市顺德区容桂街道举行。

顺德的龙舟除了能在水里游，还能在岸上走。随着城市化的快速发展，不少河涌变为道路；顺德的人们为了延续端午龙舟拜会传统，将传统龙舟“陆地化”——将龙舟缩小并安装轮子或借助交通工具，使其能在岸上行走，故称“岸龙”或“旱龙”。岸龙按传统龙舟规格缩小，长度约1.5米至3米，保留龙头、龙尾、龙牌、罗伞等核心部件，部分岸龙还会配备锣鼓、帅旗等装饰，整体造型精美，色彩鲜艳。

据介绍，本次巡游汇聚了近8只岸龙和1只岸凤，沿途还有精彩的舞龙舞狮表演。队伍阵容宏大，表演形式多样，生动呈现了容桂街道深厚的民俗文化底蕴。
