During the eight-day National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, Zhongshan, located on the west bank of the Pearl River Estuary, came alive with vibrant cultural and tourism activities, allowing both residents and visitors to fully enjoy "the charm of everyday life and the good life in the GBA."

During the holidays, Sunwen West Road pedestrian street, a landmark bearing the century-old commercial legacy of Zhongshan, emerged as a new cultural tourism hotspot thanks to its extensive and diverse business offerings. Data show that in the first five days of the holidays, the pedestrian street attracted over 500,000 visitors.

When the Xiaolan lantern-making craftsmanship with centuries of history, passed down since the Ming Dynasty, met immersive cultural tourism experiences, the Lantern Street along Kanggong Road in Xinshi Community, Xiaolan Town, became a new highlight in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) this Mid-Autumn Festival. From October 4th to 6th, thousands of lanterns illuminated 600 years of folk heritageand brought together intangible cultural heritage experiences, interactive activities, and trendy consumption at the Kanggongyu Mid-Autumn Fair, showcasing the diverse charm of the traditional festival in a modern setting.

In Dachong Town, Zhongshan, the Nighttime Economy Area at Chinese Redwood Culture Expo Center officially opened right before the holidays. Throughout the week, dazzling light shows, artistic performances, and spectacular drone displays captivated audiences, offering visitors from near and far an unforgettable festive experience.

中山双节文旅消费热力足

今年国庆中秋双节长假期间，位于珠江口西岸的中山市舒展一幅精彩文旅画卷，让满城市民游客尽享“人间烟火气 湾区好生活”。

今年双节期间，承载着中山百年商贸记忆的孙文西路步行街，凭借一场深度的多元业态焕新升级，一跃成为新的文旅顶流。数据显示，双节假期前5天，孙文西路步行街客流量已超50万人次。

当明代传承至今的小榄花灯技艺遇上沉浸式文旅体验，这个中秋，小榄镇新市社区康公路一带的“花灯街”成为粤港澳大湾区文旅新焦点。10月4日至6日，以数千花灯点亮600年民俗传承，串联起康公屿中秋集市的非遗体验、趣味互动与潮流消费，让传统节日迸发多元魅力。

在中山市大涌镇，红博城特色夜经济集聚区于长假前夕璀璨启幕，长假期间，红博城光影秀魅力呈现、文艺演出好戏连台、精彩无人机表演华丽震撼，为远近游客带来不一样的节日体验。
