According to preliminary estimates, on October 7th, the seventh day of the 2025 National Day holiday, 4A-level and above tourist attractions in Guangdong received 2.25million visitors, up 2.1% year on year. The 100 monitored rural tourism sitesand historical villages recorded 324,000 visitors, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%, while 80 key public cultural institutions welcomed 339,000 visitors, reflecting a 1.7% year-on-year rise.

At the Bavaria Manor, a National Tourist Resort in Heyuan City, a series of events, including guochao performances, intangible cultural heritage fire shows, and the moon-worship ceremony, were staged one after another, showcasing the splendor of millennia-old Chinese rituals and music. Foshan City has launched over 500 cultural, tourism, and sports events, aiming to receive 4.5 to 5 million visitors during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. The city expects to generate tourism revenue of 3.8 to 4 billion yuan, with its A-level scenic spots receiving 4 million visitors and operating income reaching 200 million yuan.

"This is our first trip to China and our first time going rafting—it's absolutely amazing!" said a Russian family, raving about the stunning glass bridge and thrilling rafting expedition at Gulong Gorge in Qingyuan. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), which links Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macao, also saw a surge in cross-border travel. Statistics show that during the first five days of the holiday, more than 500,000 passenger trips and over 110,000 vehicle crossings were recorded at the Zhuhai Highway Port of the bridge, ranking first among all border ports nationwide.

The surge in inbound tourism to Guangdong during the 2025 National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday can be largely attributed to the concentrated implementation of these policies. Guangdong encouraged all 4A-level and above tourist attractions to launch English-language booking interfaces, and significantly improved the coverage of multilingual signage at key venues, effectively removing service barriers for international visitors. In addition, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, along with several other departments, is promoting a convenient "instant tax refund" service to encourage more merchants to become tax refund shops and expand the network of acceptance for international bank cards.

双节假期广东文旅融合展现空前国际吸引力

据初步测算，2025年国庆假期第七天（10月7日），广东省4A级及以上景区接待游客225.3万人次，同比增长2.1%。纳入监测的100个乡村旅游点和历史古村落接待游客32.4万人次， 同比增长1.9%；纳入监测的80个重点公共文化机构接待市民游客33.9万人，同比增长1.7%。

在河源市国家级旅游度假区巴伐利亚庄园，国潮演艺、非遗火技、拜月仪典等活动轮番上演，传递千年礼乐风华。佛山市推出超500项文旅体活动，力争国庆中秋假期全市总接待游客数达450万-500万人次，实现旅游收入达38亿-40亿元，全市A级旅游景区接待游客达400万人次，营业收入达到2亿元。

“我们第一次来中国以及第一次体验漂流，这真的太棒了！”来自俄罗斯的一家三口，对清远古龙峡美丽的玻璃桥和刺激的漂流体验赞不绝口。一桥连三地的港珠澳大桥同样持续迎来“双向奔赴”热潮。据统计，假期前五日经港珠澳大桥珠海公路口岸出入境客流量超50万人次，出入境车流总量超11万辆次，位居全国各口岸第一。

2025年国庆中秋假期涌现的广东入境游热潮，离不开上述政策效能集中释放。广东省鼓励全省4A及以上景区上线英文预约界面，重点场所多语种标识覆盖率显著提升，为入境游客扫清服务障碍。广东省文化和旅游厅还联合多个部门推动“即买即退”退税便利措施，鼓励引导更多商户成为退税商店，提升境外银行卡受理覆盖率。
