On July 2, Guangdong officially launched four international communication platforms: IP Guangdong (a comprehensive resource sharing and image branding platform), INFO Guangdong (an all-in-one English information service platform), LIVE Guangdong (a slow live-streaming platform), and GO Guangdong (a service platform for international visits). The 2025 Guangdong image video "Go Guangdong" was also released simultaneously.

Each platform features a distinct focus, yet they are interconnected and mutually reinforcing, collectively advancing Guangdong's global communication. IP Guangdong encourages public participation in global storytelling, highlighting Guangdong's visual identity. INFO Guangdong delivers user-targeted information services and fosters emotional engagement with international audiences. GO Guangdong offers an organized visit service system that enables immersive experiences. LIVE Guangdong presents authentic, real-time footage, inviting global audience to appreciate the beauty of southern China at a relaxed pace.
IP Guangdong: a platform where everyone can participate in creating and sharing
"IP Guangdong is a platform where everyone can participate in creating and sharing the image of Guangdong," said Zhao Yang, platform operation director and editor-in-chief of South.
This bilingual platform (http://www.ipguangdong.cn) aims to mobilize creative talent from around the world, serving as a "visual showcase of Guangdong". It aggregates diverse content, including photos, videos, and designs, centered around eight themes such as "Fashion in GBA" and "Opportunities in GBA", offering a vibrant and multidimensional portrait of Guangdong's development. The platform offers global creators open access to registration, content submission, and collaborative functions, building an international creative community. Outstanding works will be promoted through global distribution channels and may benefit from copyright transactions and exhibitions. Up till now, 712 individual creators and 76 institutions have joined IP Guangdong.
At the launch event, several renowned artists and cultural figures, including Xu Hongfei (Sculptor), Lin Dihuan (Author of "Xiaolin Comics"), Li Jiejun (Chairman of the Guangdong Photographers Association), Chen Bingzhong (President of the Hong Kong Branch of the China Photographers Association), Huang Minghui (President of the Photographic Society of Macao), and Liu Pingyun (Associate Dean of the School of Visual Arts and Design of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts). These leading figures were appointed as "Content Creators" and officially joined the platform. The 100 high-quality short videos under the theme of Guangdong's rural revitalization efforts will be successively released on IP Guangdong. In the meantime, the platform kicked off the "Passionate 15th National Games: CHILL & Awesome!" campaign (激情十五运CHILL好看) to crowdsource creative content from all sectors of society.
INFO Guangdong: a digital life companion for expatriates in Guangdong
INFO Guangdong is committed to creating an all-scenario information service system encompassing work, life, study, and social interactions, thereby providing comprehensive support for expats to invest, explore, and integrate into Guangdong. The platform provides accurate and practical information across multiple channels, covering provincial updates, government services, legal advice, investment opportunities, culture and tourism, education, and healthcare, thus addressing the key challenges that foreigners face in the region. Leveraging international communities, INFO Guangdong has established "Expats Club" to organize exchange activities that foster integration. Through programs like "Foreigners Tell Guangdong Stories", it invites service recipients to co-narrate Guangdong's story. At the launch event, five foreign nationals—including Harley Seyedin, Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in South China, and David Butler, general manager of the Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Team—were appointed as the first cohort of "Global Promotion Ambassadors of Guangdong". Meanwhile, five communities, such as the Liede International Neighborhood of Tianhe Districtin Guangzhou, Clifford International Neighborhood of Panyu Districtin Guangzhou, Jiaomenhe International Neighborhood of Nansha District in Guangzhou, Nanshan International Cultural Exchange and Service Centerin Shenzhen, and the Shekou Management Service Center for Expats in Shenzhen, were designated as the inaugural "INFO Guangdong International Community Information Service Centers".
GO Guangdong: a panoramic map for "explore Guangdong"
GO Guangdong, developed by Nanfang News Network (Southcn.com) in collaboration with the School of Interpreting and Translation Studies at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, aims to create a smart, bilingual "panoramic map" that serves both Chinese and international tourists and visitors.
According to Zhang Chunning, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nanfang News Network (Southcn.com) and platform operation director, the platform will initiate standardized updates for physical visiting sites. The goal is to ensure all these sites feature clear bilingual signage and comprehensive interpretation materials in Chinese and English by 2027, enhancing the international service standards of Guangdong's popular destinations.
Additionally, a smart bilingual website system of GO Guangdong is under development. This system will compile information on all relevant visiting sites across Guangdong Province and intelligently categorize them by themes such as history, culture, and local heritage, making it easy for users to find destinations that match their interests. Whether organizing a group visit or planning a solo trip, this system will serve as a practical tool for traveling.
"Our goal is to make exploration in Guangdong both convenient and enjoyable," said the project leader. GO Guangdong will be fully interconnected with INFO Guangdong to jointly provide more comprehensive and user-friendly support for those "traveling in Guangdong".
As part of its launch, the project team has introduced three themed visiting routes, including "Unseen Rural China", "Vibrant Sports Arenas", and "Discover Biodiversity Wonders", highlighting topics such as biodiversity, the "High-Quality Development Project for Guangdong Counties, Towns and Villages", and national fitness campaign. Detailed information for these routes is available on GO Guangdong English website (http://goguangdong.southcn.com) and its TikTok and rednote accounts. In the future, GO Guangdong will continue to roll out new routes themed around industry, technology, culture, and other areas.
LIVE Guangdong: a 24/7 real-time documentary of life in Guangdong
LIVE Guangdong, a slow live-streaming platform developed by the professional team at Guangdong Radio and Television Station, offers immersive, uninterrupted 24/7 livestreams in 4K ultra-high-definition across the province—without narration or commentary. It aims to create an ever-evolving real-time documentary of Guangdong.
The platform is being rolled out in phases, with a target of establishing 500 livestream sites across the province by 2027. These livestreams sites will showcase everything from model villages and towns under the project of "High-Quality Development Project for Hundreds of Counties, Thousands of Towns, and Myriads of Villages" to iconic urban landmarks in Guangdong. Audiences around the world can tune in through Guangdong Radio and Television Station channels, the YueTV app, and global platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and WeChat Channels, to witness the province's day-to-night transformations in real time.
According to Lin Qingjian, Director of the International Department at Guangdong Radio and Television Station and the platform director, LIVE Guangdong will also launch seasonal themes around the four seasons, as well as major events and key topics. Through selective editing and creative re-packaging, the platform will transform its vast collection of everyday scenes into compelling, story-driven content, offering viewers a more vivid, multi-sensory experience of life in Guangdong.
At the launch event, multiple live feeds were showcased in real time, revealing the contrasting beauty of Guangdong—from the first light over the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge at dawn to bustling urban alleyways deep into the night—visually capturing the province's 24-hour vitality.
广东上线四大国际传播平台 构建“人人外宣”新生态
7月2日,由广东省委宣传部主办的IP Guangdong形象传播全资源平台、INFO Guangdong对外资讯服务平台、LIVE Guangdong慢直播平台、GO Guangdong国际参访服务平台等四大国际传播平台正式上线。2025《Go Guangdong够广东》形象片也同步发布。
广东省委宣传部相关负责人介绍,四大国际传播平台的上线是广东推进主流媒体系统性变革,创新国际传播模式,构建“人人可参与、人人能传播”新生态的重要举措。四大平台既各具特色,又互联互通、成为一体:IP Guangdong激发“人人外宣”,传播视觉符号;INFO Guangdong精准服务用户,沉淀情感连接;GO Guangdong打造参访体系,创造沉浸体验;LIVE Guangdong提供真实见证,静享大美南粤。四大平台将致力推动民众由“受众者”变为“传播者”,将对来粤在粤外籍人士的“服务力”转化为“传播力”,将广东故事的“单次传播”变为IP化的“集装出海”,将省级平台“旗舰店”发展为全省国际传播“连锁店”。这是广东深入学习贯彻习近平文化思想,贯彻落实党的二十届三中全会关于“构建更有效力的国际传播体系”的部署要求,回答“如何讲好中国故事”的创新方案——用真实打败偏见、用参与击破“茧房”、用人心链接人心,让世界通过广东看见并爱上真实、立体、全面的中国。

“IP Guangdong是全民创作、传播Guangdong IP的舞台,民众不再是传播的受众,更是传播的‘主人公’”,平台运营负责人、南方国际传播中心、South总编辑赵杨表示。该中英双语平台(http://www.ipguangdong.cn)致力于激活全球民间创作力量,打造“视觉广东橱窗”,汇聚图片、视频、设计等素材,围绕时尚湾区、机遇湾区等八大主题,全方位展示广东实践成果与活力形象。平台面向全球创作者开放注册、投稿与协作功能,搭建全球创作社群。优秀作品将获海内外多渠道分发、版权交易、展览展示等机会。目前,已有712位个人创作者和76家机构入驻IP Guangdong。
上线活动上,雕塑家许鸿飞、“小林漫画”林帝浣、广东省摄影家协会主席李洁军、中国摄影家协会香港会员分会会长陈炳忠、澳门摄影学会会长黄明辉、广州美术学院视觉艺术设计学院副院长刘平云等受聘为“特约创作者”,入驻平台。“粤来粤好百千万”系列100短视频也宣布陆续上线IP Guangdong平台。平台同时启动了“激情十五运CHILL好看”全民征集活动。
INFO Guangdong:在粤外籍人士“数字生活伴侣”
INFO Guangdong致力于为在粤外籍人士打造“无感切换”的友好环境,提供“一站式”多语种服务。平台旨在以“服务力”提升“传播力”,通过多终端渠道提供涵盖省情、政务、法律、投资、文旅、求学、就医等精准实用信息,解决外籍人士来粤、在粤的工作生活痛点;依托国际社区建立“外国人俱乐部”,组织交流活动促进融入;通过“老外讲故事”等活动,将服务对象转化为传播伙伴,共同讲述广东故事。“这实现了国际传播从‘说给你听’到‘我们一起说’的质变”,平台运营负责人、南方国际传播中心、South总编辑赵杨表示。
活动现场,华南美国商会主席哈利、广州国际龙舟队理事白大卫等5位在粤外籍人士受聘为首批“全球推介官”,广州市天河区猎德国际化街区、深圳市蛇口境外人员管理服务中心等5个社区成为首批“INFO Guangdong国际社区信息服务点”。
GO Guangdong:“畅游广东”的全景地图
随着中国持续扩大“免签朋友圈”,“到中国游、到广东游”正成为全球社交平台的“流量密码”。GO Guangdong平台旨在打造服务中外游客、访客的智慧“全景地图”,依托南方新闻网和广东外语外贸大学高级翻译学院,接住这波文旅新流量。
平台运营负责人、南方新闻网副总编辑张纯青介绍,平台将启动对实体参访点的标准化建设,目标到2027年,这些参访点都将配齐清晰的中英文标识、丰富实用的双语解说材料,提升广东热门参访点的国际化服务水平。
此外,GO Guangdong的中英文智能网站系统正在建设中。该系统将汇集广东省内所有相关参访点信息,并根据历史、文化、风物等主题进行智能分类,方便访客快速查找感兴趣的内容。未来不管是组织团体考察,还是个人自由行,这个系统都能帮上忙。
“我们的目标是让大家在广东的探索既方便又开心”,该项目负责人说,GO Guangdong将与INFO Guangdong服务平台互联互通,共同为“游在广东”提供更全面、更贴心的支持。同时,结合广东新闻发布下沉机制,助力打造更立体的基础配套设施,增强发布传播的生动性、穿透力。
目前,该项目团队已围绕生物多样性、“百千万工程”、全民健身主题,首期发布“灵动湾区”、“古村漫行”、“活力湾区”3条GO Guangdong参访线,路线详情将通过GO Guangdong英文网站(http://goguangdong.southcn.com)和TikTok、小红书的GO Guangdong账号同步发布。未来,GO Guangdong将持续推出产业、科技、文化等更多主题参访线。
LIVE Guangdong:广东24小时不打烊的真实纪录片平台
在信息纷杂的时代,真实、鲜活成为稀缺力量。LIVE Guangdong慢直播平台依托广东广播电视台专业团队,对广东全域进行24小时不间断、无解说、沉浸式4K超高清直播,打造一部永不落幕的“广东真实纪录片”。
平台正分步建设覆盖全省的慢直播网络,目标到2027年建成500个直播点位,广泛呈现“百千万工程”示范村镇及城市地标风貌。观众可通过广东广播电视台电视频道、粤TV客户端及Tik Tok、YouTube、微信视频号等国际社交媒体平台,实时观看大美南粤的昼夜流转。
据平台运营负责人、广东广播电视台对外传播中心主任林庆坚介绍,未来,平台还将围绕“春、夏、秋、冬”季节主题以及重大活动、重点主题,对直播内容进行“精选剪辑”和“二次创作”,通过海量的日常生产生活场景呈现,丰富用户对广东的鲜活感官体验。
上线活动现场,实时切换展示了已开通的多路慢直播信号,呈现了从晨曦港珠澳大桥到深夜城市街巷的不同景象。
据悉,广东四大国际传播平台还将发挥“旗舰店”的示范牵引作用,着力构建“1(省级平台)+21(地市)+N(省市各部门各媒体)”传播格局,努力孵化衍生更多“IP”“INFO”“LIVE”“GO”城市“连锁店”,推动形成主流媒体“强音”、人民群众“交响”、市场主体“和鸣”、外籍人士“共舞”,机制化、国际化、IP化、常态化讲好中国故事、大湾区故事和广东故事的生动局面。
