As one of the starting points of the ancient Maritime Silk Road, Guangzhou, the millennia-old trading hub, has long been a gateway for China to engage with the world, fostering mutual benefits and cultural exchanges. Over the centuries, it has become an important port for China's foreign trade and cultural interaction, leaving a wealth of precious Maritime Silk Road relics.

To celebrate International Museum Day on May 18th, reporter from Yangcheng Evening News joined international students in Guangzhou to explore local museums, searching for "imported goods" from their home countries and uncovering the stories of Lingnan culture and Guangzhou's international connections through these artifacts.

In this episode, Yangcheng Evening News reporter and Iranian international student Hasti from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) visited the Nanyue King Museum to explore the Persian silver box unearthed from the tomb of the Nanyue King of the Western Han Dynasty.

作为古代海上丝绸之路的起点之一，千百年来，千年商都广州一直广交世界、互利天下，是中国对外贸易和文化交流的重要口岸，留下了一大批宝贵的海丝遗珍。

在5月18日国际博物馆日到来之际，羊城晚报记者与在穗外国留学生一同走进广州地区的博物馆，寻找来自他们家乡的“舶来品”，讲述文物背后的岭南文化及广州国际交往故事。
