According to relevant surveys, one in every four travelers embarks on a new journey for the love of food. Data from the 2024 Trip Gourmet list shows that among the five most popular cuisines for tourists, Cantonese cuisine ranks first. This Spring Festival, Come to Guangdong for a "culinary New Year" and begin your exploration of the authentic flavors of Guangdong.

Recently, in the "Savoring Beautiful China, Exploring Mountains and Rivers" national 24 solar terms (winter) tourism and gourmet promotion event guided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Resource Development Department, three of Guangdong's recommended premium travel routes and 16 signature dishes were selected for the national winter tourism route and gourmet list.

These three premium routes are: "Maoming's Warm Winter Coastal Health Journey", "Fengkai Winter Gourmet Journey" and "Exploring Lingnan through Food in Nanhai." among the 16 winter signature dishes selected are Maoming's Diancheng cuttlefish cake and shrimp paste, Zhaoqing's apricot flower chicken soup and Pinggang roast duck, and Foshan's whole fish banquet and porridge hot pot. So far, Guangdong has had 12 routes and 65 types of gourmet foods included in the national tourism gourmet and route list.

As a "culinary journey guide" for both local and visiting tourists, in the 2024 Dianping "Must-Eat List", 368 restaurants from 13 cities and regions in Guangdong were listed, ranking first in China. Over the past year, more and more tourists have been searching for gourmet towns and authentic small restaurants in this food province, with 42% of the "Must-Eat List" users being from outside the area; in the first half of 2024, the number of users in Guangdong who searched for "Must-Eat List" to find restaurants increased by over 88% year-on-year.

The combination of food and tourism has made Guangdong's cuisine well-known to tourists in a way that is popular with the masses. At the recently held 2024 Bay Area Delicious List Annual Gala, the "Bay Area Good Flavor Group" gourmet-themed cultural and tourism route launched by CGZLand the "Bay Area Delicious List" extended an invitation to global tourists to "come to the Bay Area to enjoy the New Year flavor."

Taking the "Bay Area Delicious Group: Jiangmen and Zhuhai 2-Day" and "Bay Area Delicious Group: Shenzhen and Zhongshan 2-Day" double-city joint tours as examples, tourists can taste Jiangmen's Eel Rice and Five-Flavor Goose, Zhuhai's Oyster Banquet, and Zhongshan's Shiqi crispy pigeonthrough the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage and the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, while visiting Guangdong attractions such as the mangrove wetland park, chikan overseas Chinese Ancient Town, Sea World Culture and Art Center, and Zhongshan Zhan Garden.

The "Bay Area Delicious Group: come to Guangdong for the New Year 5-Day Joint Tour" leads tourists from Foshan's award-winning black Char Siu banquet and Huanjie Lunjiao cake to Shunde's water town private dishes and authentic Chaoshan special banquet. Vibrant Guangdong | 寻味广东，过一个“舌尖上的粤味年”

根据相关调研，每4个旅客中就有1人因为美食而开启一次新的旅行。2024年携程美食林榜单数据显示，在最受游客青睐的五大菜系中，粤菜居首。这个春节，来广东赴一场“舌尖上的粤味年”,开启全方位探索广东年味的第一篇章。

在近日由文化和旅游部资源开发司指导开展的“寻味美好中国·品游万里山河”全国二十四节气（冬季）旅游美食及线路发布宣传推广活动中，广东推荐的3条精品旅游线路和16道特色美食入选全国冬季旅游线路及美食名单。

这3条精品线路分别是：“品鲜观海，畅游美岛——茂名暖冬康养滨海之旅”，“‘岭南冬色风情浓，封开佳肴暖融融’——封开冬季美食之旅”以及“‘岭南古郡 粤菜之源’——揾食南海走读岭南之旅”。茂名市的电城墨鱼饼、虾酱，肇庆市的牛大力杏花鸡汤、平岗烧鸭，佛山市的全鱼宴、粥底火锅等16道冬季特色美食入选。截至目前，广东已有12条线路、65种美食入选全国旅游美食及线路名单。

作为本地与异地游客的“美食之旅向导”，2024大众点评必吃榜中，广东共13座城市及地区368家餐厅上榜，位列全国第一。过去一年，越来越多的游客在这座美食大省寻找美食小城、寻味地道小店，“必吃榜”榜单异地用户占比达42%；2024上半年，广东省通过搜索“必吃榜”进行精准探店的用户数量同比增长超88%。

美食与旅游联动，更是让广东的美食以群众喜闻乐见的方式为天下游客所知。日前举办的“请到湾区赏年味”2024湾区好味榜年度盛典中，由广之旅联合《湾区好味榜》推出“湾区好味团”美食主题文旅线路，向全球游客发出“请到湾区赏年味”的邀约。

以“【湾区好味团】江门、珠海2天”和“【湾区好味团】深圳、中山2天”两条双城联游线路为例，分别通过走黄茅海跨海通道和深中通道，让游客在两天的行程里品尝到江门黄鳝饭、五味鹅，珠海生蚝宴以及中山石岐乳鸽等特色美食，打卡红树林湿地公园、赤坎古镇侨乡度假区、海上世界文化艺术中心以及岭南最大私家园林中山詹园等广东景点。

“【湾区好味团】请到广东过大年5天联游”则带领游客从佛山金奖黑叉烧宴、欢姐伦教糕吃到顺德水乡私房菜、正宗潮汕特色宴……每一餐都饱含浓浓的广东年味与烟火气。
