Data from the General Administration of Customs released on October 14 shows that in the first three quarters, China's total imports and exports reached 32.33 trillion yuan, surpassing 32 trillion yuan for the first time in the same period in history, which marks a year-on-year growth of 5.3%. Of this total, exports stood at 18.62 trillion yuan, up 6.2%, while imports reached 13.71 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.1%.
