On the morning of August 6th, the inaugural flight ceremony for Qingyuan's first low-altitude flight tourism project took place at Fengcheng Square, Qingcheng District. As the "Qingyuan-1" helicopter gradually took off, the first three flight routes began operation, offering residents and tourists a richer low-altitude sightseeing experience. On that day, 16 lucky people were selected by drawing lots to enjoy a complimentary "Aerial Tour of the Beijiang River". The event also featured a flight demonstration of XPENG AEROHT's Voyager X2 and a demonstration of drone coffee delivery.

The inaugural ceremony introduced three low-altitude sightseeing routes, providing aerial views of scenic spots including Fengcheng Square in the Qingcheng District, Jiangxin Island, Zhouxin Bridge, Guangdong Vocational Education City, Qingyuan Sports Center Stadium, and Huangteng Gorge.

During the event, Qingcheng District People's Government, Guangdong Low-Altitude Technology Development Co., Ltd., and XPENG AEROHT signed an agreement to develop and deploy the low-altitude service in key areas such as medical care, education, logistics, cultural tourism, and urban management. They will work together to build industry chains integrating low-altitude and cultural tourism, public services, education and training, and urban management, continuously exploring consumer needs in the low-altitude field and creating a new engine for economic growth to promote high-quality development of the low-altitude economy in the Qingcheng District.

"Today's event showcased drones for urban low-altitude transportation and logistics, as well as helicopters for aerial tourism, providing a comprehensive exploration of the low-altitude economy's potential applications. This pioneering demonstration sets a precedent for the collaborative operation of various aerial vehicles within the low-altitude sector," said Tong Dawei, General Manager of Guangdong Low-Altitude Technology Development Co., Ltd. He added that, in addition to the "low-altitude + cultural tourism" collaboration, the company will also partner with medical institutions in Qingyuan to develop new projects for emergency medical care and medical supplies delivery. They will also work with local vocational colleges to establish a training and certification base for civilian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) pilots, and set up Qingyuan's first UAV training and certification center.

Officials from Qingcheng District stated that they will further integrate low-altitude flights with tourism projects, launch multiple low-altitude sightseeing routes, and create aerial connections between various attractions in Qingcheng. In doing so, they aim to provide residents and tourists with a safe, comfortable, and exciting flight experience through the best-quality services and the strongest safety measures.

清远首个低空飞行观光旅游项目启动

8月6日上午，清远首个低空飞行旅游观光项目首航仪式在清城区凤城广场举行。随着“清远一号”直升机缓缓起飞，首期3条航线正式开通，将为市民游客提供更丰富的低空旅游体验。当天已有16名市民通过抽签，免费乘机体验“空中游北江”。活动还进行了小鹏汇天飞行汽车旅航者X2飞行演示和无人机送咖啡演示。

首航仪式推出了3条低空观光线路，可以高空欣赏清城区凤城广场、江心岛、洲心大桥、省职教城、清远体育中心、黄腾峡等美景。

当天，清城区人民政府、广东低空科技发展有限公司、小鹏汇天进行现场签约，将在医疗、教育、物流、文旅、城市管理等重点领域规划清城低空产业布局，共同建设“低空+文旅”“低空+公共服务”“低空+教育培训”“低空+城市管理”产业链，不断发掘低空消费需求，打造经济增长新引擎，推动清城区低空经济高质量发展。

“这次现场展示了用于城市低空交通和低空物流的无人机、空中旅游观光的直升机，对低空经济的全应用场景进行了相对全面的展现与探索，开创了低空经济多种航空器协同融合运行的先例。”广东低空科技发展有限公司总经理童大为介绍，该公司除了开展“低空+文旅”合作，还将与清远市内医疗机构联合建设医疗急救、医疗配送等建立新质生产力合作项目，与职教城内高校合作，共建民用无人驾驶航空器驾驶员培训及考证基地，成立清远首个无人驾驶航空器培训考证中心。

清城区方面表示，还将大力推动低空飞行与旅游观光项目相结合，推出多条低空飞行观光航线，架起连接清城众多景点的空中桥梁，用最优质的服务、最强力的保障，为市民、游客提供安全、舒适、精彩的飞行体验。
