In the first four months of 2024, Guangdong's foreign trade imports and exports amounted to 2.8 trillion yuan, with an increase of 12.3% year-on-year, with growth exceeding the national average by 6.6 percentage points and 0.3 percentage points higher than that of the first quarter.

Among them, export volume reached 1.8 trillion yuan, up 8.8%. Import volume amounted to 999.67 billion yuan, up 19.1%. In April, Guangdong's foreign trade imports and exports totaled 764.81 billion yuan, up 13% year-on-year.

The trade structure continues to optimize, with the proportion of general trade imports and exports increasing. In the first four months, Guangdong's general trade imports and exports amounted to 1.66 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.6%, accounting for 59% of Guangdong's total imports and exports value, up 1.2 percentage points over the same period last year.

Private enterprises have continued to expand their import and export scale, becoming an integral part of Guangdong's foreign trade. In the first four months, the import and export volume of private enterprises in Guangdong reached 1.77 trillion yuan, with an increase of 18.1%, accounting for 63.2% of the total import and export value of Guangdong, up 3.1 percentage points from the same period last year. During the same period, the import and export volume of foreign-invested enterprises was 879.44 billion yuan, and that of state-owned enterprises was 146.67 billion yuan, accounting for 31.4% and 5.2% of Guangdong's total import and export value respectively.

Regional cooperation has continued to deepen, and positive growth has been achieved for all major trading partners. In the first four months, ASEAN, Hong Kong SAR of China, the United States, the European Union, and Chinese Taiwan remained Guangdong's top five trading partners, with growth rates of 7.2%, 17.5%, 9.6%, 4.1%, and 16.3% respectively, accounting for 16.1%, 12.4%, 11.4%, 11.2%, and 7.5% of Guangdong's total import and export value. In addition, trade with countries participating in the "Belt and Road" initiative reached 1.05 trillion yuan, marking an 8.0% increase and accounting for 37.3% of the total.

Products manufactured in Guangdong continue to be welcomed globally, with a strong momentum in the export of electromechanical products. In the first four months, the export of electromechanical products from Guangdong reached 1.17 trillion yuan, with an increase of 6.8%, accounting for 65% of Guangdong's total exports. Among them, major export commodities such as automatic data processing equipment and its components, household appliances, and audiovisual equipment and its parts increased rapidly by 13.3%, 14.7%, and 13.5% respectively. The export of containers and ships saw significant growth, increasing by 1.2 times and 1 time respectively.

In terms of imports, there is a strong demand for some electromechanical products and bulk commodities. In the first four months, Guangdong imported 628.94 billion yuan of electromechanical products, an increase of 23.9%, accounting for 62.9% of Guangdong's total imports. Among them, imports of automatic data processing equipment and its components, as well as integrated circuits, increased by 100% and 23% respectively. During the same period, imports of bulk commodities such as energy, metal ores, and grains increased by 27.3%.

前4个月广东外贸进出口同比增长12.3%

今年前4个月，广东外贸进出口2.8万亿元，同比增长12.3%，增速高出全国6.6个百分点，较一季度增速高0.3个百分点。

其中，出口1.8万亿元，增长8.8%；进口9996.7亿元，增长19.1%。单4月，广东外贸进出口7648.1亿元，同比增长13%。

贸易结构不断优化，一般贸易进出口占比提升。前4个月，广东一般贸易进出口1.66万亿元，增长14.6%，占广东进出口总值的59%，较去年同期提升了1.2个百分点。

民营企业进出口规模不断壮大，成为广东外贸的重要组成部分。前4个月，广东民营企业进出口1.77万亿元，增长18.1%，占广东进出口总值的63.2%，较去年同期提升3.1个百分点。同期，外商投资企业进出口8794.4亿元，国有企业进出口1466.7亿元，分别占广东进出口总值的31.4%和5.2%。

区域合作持续深化，对主要贸易伙伴均实现正增长。前4个月，东盟、中国香港、美国、欧盟和中国台湾为广东前5大贸易伙伴，分别增长7.2%、17.5%、9.6%、4.1%和16.3%，占广东进出口总值的比重分别为16.1%、12.4%、11.4%、11.2%和7.5%。此外，对共建“一带一路”国家进出口1.05万亿元，增长8.0%，占37.3%。

“广东制造”金字招牌持续擦亮，机电产品出口势头良好。前4个月，广东机电产品出口1.17万亿元，增长6.8%，占广东出口总值的65%。其中，自动数据处理设备及其零部件、家用电器、音视频设备及其零件等主要出口商品较快增长，分别增长13.3%、14.7%和13.5%；集装箱、船舶出口大幅增长，分别增长1.2倍和1倍。

从进口来看，部分机电产品、大宗商品进口需求旺盛。前4个月，广东进口机电产品6289.4亿元，增长23.9%，占广东进口总值的62.9%。其中，进口自动数据处理设备及其零部件、集成电路分别增长1倍和23%。同期，能源、金属矿砂和粮食等大宗商品进口量增加27.3%。
