On April 18th, 46 officials and representatives from 30 diplomatic missions in Guangzhou visited Panyu District, Guangzhou, to learn about the industrial policies, business environment, high-quality development plans, and achievements in rural revitalization in the Panyu District.

During the visit, the delegation visited representative technology enterprises in Panyu and immersed themselves in the Lingnan culture at the Shawan Ancient Town, experiencing firsthand the charm of Guangzhou as a cosmopolitan city where traditional culture and modern industries harmoniously coexist.

In the morning, the delegation visited Guangzhou Golden Sea Electronic, where they learned about its lighting products and witnessed the themed light show "Vast Starry Sky." Learning that Golden Sea's products have been used in significant projects such as the Beijing Olympics, the opening ceremony of the Qatar World Cup, the Super Bowl in the United States, and the light show at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the delegation praised the beauty of light and the independent innovation of Guangzhou enterprises.

At the investment promotion conference in Panyu, where it was showcased as the home to the world's top water park, the busiest high-speed rail station in China, and the fastest metro in the Greater Bay Area, consulate officials eagerly took photos as the screen displayed data on the business environment and industrial development.

Inside the GAC Aian Intelligent Eco-factory, with production lines running at high speed, robots moving their arms, and automated guided vehicles shuttling back and forth, a new energy vehicle "drives" off the production line every 53 seconds. These highly intelligent production scenes sparked lively discussions. Porpot Changyawa, Deputy Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou, shared with reporters that GAC Aian had set up a subsidiary in Thailand last year and invested in building factories. "We hope that China and Thailand can further carry out technological exchanges and industrial cooperation to jointly develop the new energy vehicle market in Southeast Asia," she said.

In the 800-year-old Shawan Ancient Town, consulate officials visited ancient ancestral halls from the Ming and Qing dynasties, strolled through ancient streets and alleys, and appreciated Lingnan's unique artistic treasures such as brick carvings, wood carvings, and murals. After enjoying traditional Lingnan tunes like "Rain Hitting Banana Trees" and "Step by Step High," they tasted local delicacies such as ginger-infused milk, experiencing the charm and historical heritage of Lingnan through close observation and appreciation.

"I never thought I could visit such a historically rich and highly modern place. Today's journey has brought me great joy," shared Ruben Espinoza Raymondi, Consul General of the Republic of Peru in Guangzhou, as the visit drew to a close.

30国驻穗领团走进番禺，“跨古今”感受广州魅力

4月18日，来自30个国家驻穗总领事馆的46名领馆官员及代表走进广州番禺，了解番禺区产业政策、营商环境、高质量发展规划和乡村振兴成果。

参访番禺区科技代表企业，走进沙湾古镇沉浸式体验岭南文化……领团一行通过实地参访，感受广州这座国际化都市里传统文化与现代产业协调发展的魅力。

当天上午，领团一行参观了广州市浩洋电子股份有限公司，现场了解公司生产研发的专业舞台灯光、文旅景观与建筑艺术照明等科技产品，并观看“浩瀚星辰、滴水成洋”主题灯光秀。当了解到浩洋电子产品被用在北京奥运会、卡塔尔世界杯开幕式、美国超级碗、迪拜塔灯光秀等项目时，纷纷为光色之美和广州企业的自主创新点赞。

全球入园人数第一水上乐园、全国最繁忙的高铁站、湾区最快地铁……在番禺区招商推介会上，当大屏幕展示营商环境和产业发展数据时，领事官员们纷纷举起手机拍照。

在广汽埃安智能生态工厂里，生产线高速运转、机器人挥舞手臂、自动导向车来回穿梭，每53秒就有一台新能源汽车“驶”下生产线……这些高度智能化的生产场景，引起领团一行的热烈讨论和驻足观看。泰国驻穗总领事馆副总领事常佩瑶笑脸盈盈地向记者分享，广汽埃安从去年开始在泰国设立分公司，并投资建设生产工厂。“希望中泰双方可以进一步开展技术交流、产业合作，携手开拓新能源汽车东南亚市场。”她说。

在拥有800多年历史的沙湾古镇，领事官员们参观明清古祠堂，漫步石街石巷，感受砖雕、木雕、壁画等极具岭南特色的艺术精品，欣赏岭南名曲《雨打芭蕉》《步步高》后，再品尝本土美食沙湾姜埋奶，在细品细看中体验岭南风情和历史底蕴。

“我从来没想过会来到这样一个历史悠久又极具现代化的地方，今天的旅程让我很欣喜。”参访临近尾声，秘鲁驻穗总领事鲁本·埃斯皮诺萨·雷蒙迪分享道。
