Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders | On 20 February, the results of the preliminary evaluation of the top 10 new #archaeological findings in #China for 2023 were announced. 22 projects were shortlisted for the final evaluation, and the Yingde Yanshanzhai site, as the only participating project from #Guangdong, was successfully shortlisted.

The Yanshanzhai site is located at #Yingde in the middle of the northern mountainous area of Guangdong and the Pearl #River Delta region. Discovered in 2017, the site consists of several places distributed across different geomorphological parts such as the tops of limestone isolated #peaks, #caves, and #terraces, covering about 100,000 square meters, with a grand scale and a complex structure. #SplendidLingnan

2月20日，2023年度全国十大考古新发现初评结果揭晓，22个项目入围终评，广东英德岩山寨遗址作为广东省唯一参评项目成功入围。

岩山寨遗址位于广东省清远市英德市青塘镇榄村，地处粤北山地区与珠江三角洲的中间地带。遗址发现于2017年，由分布于石灰岩孤峰顶部、岩洞与台地等不同地貌部位的多个地点组成，面积约10万平方米，规模宏大、内涵复杂。
