12月28日，广东四条高速“交通动脉”正式通车。至此，广东高速路网覆盖更全面，出行更方便，向交通强省迈进的步伐也越来越快。莞番高速公路三期工程正式通车，对加强粤港澳大湾区交通互联互通具有重大意义；兴汕高速红海段二期工程正式通车，成为汕尾南北快速交通大动脉；湛江机场高速一期工程正式通车，加强湛江市主城区与机场及空港经济区之间的快捷联系具有重要作用；湛江环城高速南三岛大桥正式通车，方便群众出入海岛，带动海岛旅游业发展。
