With the opening of the Global Investment Promotion Conference of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area on November 8th, a series of projects were signed in Guangzhou. One day later, the corporate delegation split into three groups and conducted on-site visits to enterprises in Guangzhou, Dongguan, and Foshan in the Greater Bay Area.

Guangzhou:
New materials and biopharmaceutical industries have unlimited market potential

Foreign invested companies such as Procter & Gamble, Amway, PepsiCo, Honda, Siemens, Zeiss, has witnessed the industrial rise of the Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District. As one of the most concentrated areas for foreign enterprises in Guangzhou and even the Greater Bay Area, Huangpu has become a necessary destination for corporate delegations visiting Guangzhou.

Industrial investment, especially in advanced manufacturing, is the highlight of Huangpu's industrial layout. With the support of the large market, open and inclusive commercial atmosphere, as well as policies, funding, customer resources, and other factors in the Greater Bay Area, enterprises enjoy unlimited market and potential here.

During the visit to Carl Zeiss AG (China) Co., Ltd., Gao Zhuokun, deputy manager of health economics and government affairs of Danaher China developed a strong interest. “The biopharmaceutical sector is what we pay the most attention to in terms of investment in the future. Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City has a lot of high-quality resources. This conference and visit presented me with many potential high-quality customers."

According to the data, in the first three quarters, Guangzhou had 4,522 newly negotiated industrial investment projects and 1,577 signed projects, with a growth rate of 31.7% and 38.8%, respectively.

Foshan:
Amazing, intelligent factories for beverage and food, equipment manufacturing

In the beer factory, hundreds of cans of beer "run" on the production line, creating a red trajectory, which has attracted members of the corporate delegation to take out their phones and take pictures; inside the intelligent manufacturing base with large equipment, the technologies of the factory are impressive...

Since 2008, the China (Sanshui) International Water Capital Beverage and Food Base, located in the southern part of Sanshui District, Foshan, has gathered about 200 domestic and foreign well-known food and beverage companies, including Coca-Cola, Yakult, Sanquan, Jianlibao, and Carlsberg.

The equipment manufacturing industry is a strategic emerging industry cluster that Foshan has focused on building in recent years, with a scale reaching trillions.

Andritz (China) Ltd, headquartered in Austria, mainly provides factories, equipment, and services for industries such as hydropower, pulp and paper, metals, and industrial separation technology. In 2002, Andritz (China) Co., Ltd. was established, and its Chinese headquarters was set up in Chancheng District, Foshan City. Currently, the total factory area in Foshan has exceeded 60,000 square meters, and its excellent production and manufacturing technologies have been introduced locally.

Dongguan:
High-tech industries such as medical devices achieve rapid development

The corporate delegation heading to Dongguan visited Songshan Lake Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone and the Administrative Committee of Dongguan Waterfront Economic Development Zone, both of which are central areas for the agglomeration of industries in Dongguan.

It is reported that Dongguan ranks 19th in the comprehensive ability ranking of national innovative cities, third in the province, and advances into the top 20 cities in terms of comprehensive competitiveness in scientific and technological innovation. Its industrial positioning and strategy are very clear, aiming to highlight the characteristics of"high-tech" in planning major projects.

It is reported that a considerable part of the hardware assembly of medical devices in China is done in Dongguan. With the support of this manufacturing industry foundation, the biopharmaceutical and medical device industries in the park are in a stage of rapid development.

Currently, the biopharmaceutical industry base in Songshan Lake Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone has formed a leading overall industrial agglomeration effect, with leading enterprises including HEC, Fapon Biolotech, 3SBIO, Zhongsheng Pharmacy, etc.

外商“湾区行”增强投资信心

11月8日在穗开幕，一个个项目重磅签约。11月9日，2023粤港澳大湾区全球招商大会次日一早，企业代表团兵分三路，赴广州、东莞、佛山进行大湾区企业实地调研。

广州：
新材料、生物医药产业有无限的市场空间

宝洁、安利、百事饮料、本田、西门子、蔡司……外资见证了广州开发区、黄埔区的产业崛起。作为广州乃至粤港澳大湾区外资企业最为集中的地区之一，黄埔成为企业代表团广州行的必到之处。

工业投资尤其是先进制造业投资，是黄埔产业布局的最大亮点。依托于大湾区庞大的市场体量、开放包容的氛围以及政策、资金、客户资源等支持，企业在这里有无限的市场空间和想象。

在参观卡尔蔡司光学（中国）有限公司的过程中，丹纳赫集团卫生经济学及政府事务副经理高卓坤产生了浓厚的兴趣。“生物医药板块是我们未来在投资等领域最关注的，中新广州知识城有非常多的优质资源，这次大会和走访让我看到了很多潜在的优质客户。”

数据显示，前三季度，广州全市新洽谈产业招商项目4522个、增长31.7%，签约项目1577个、增长38.8%

佛山：
饮料食品、装备制造数字化工厂令人惊叹

啤酒工厂里，几百罐啤酒“飞奔”于生产线上描绘出红色动线，引得企业代表团成员纷纷举起手机拍照；大型装备的智能制造基地内，工厂数字化细节令人瞩目……

2008年至今，位于佛山三水区南部的中国（三水）国际水都饮料食品基地，集聚了可口可乐、益力多、三全、健力宝、嘉士伯等约200家国内外知名食品饮料及相关企业。

装备制造业是佛山近年来重点打造的战略性新兴产业集群，规模已达万亿级。　　

总部位于奥地利的安德里茨集团，主要为水电、制浆造纸、金属以及工业领域的分离技术等行业提供工厂、设备和服务。2002年，安德里茨（中国）有限公司成立，并将中国总部设在佛山市禅城区，目前在佛山的工厂总面积已超60000平方米，并将优秀生产与制造技术引入当地。

东莞：
医疗器械等“高精尖”产业实现高速发展

东莞线的企业代表团走进的是松山湖高新区、水乡特色发展经济区，都是东莞产业集聚的中心地带。

据悉，东莞在国家创新型城市综合能力排名中居第19位，全省第三，科技创新综合竞争力挺进全国城市20强。其产业定位与策略十分明确，就是在重大项目规划上凸显“高精尖”特质。

据介绍，全国的医疗器械相当大一部分的硬件组装都在东莞，依托于这种制造业基础，园区的生物医药与医疗器械产业正处于一个高速发展的阶段。

目前，松山湖高新区的生物医药产业基地已形成头部引领的整体产业聚集效应，头部企业包括东阳光、菲鹏生物、三生制药、众生药业等。
