On October 23rd, on the Double Ninth Festival, Chendian town in Chaonan District, Shantou City, was bustling with exciting performances: the Yingge Dance (a traditional art that merges opera, dance and martial arts), gong and drum performance, parade of girls carrying flag banners, lion dances and the like.

In Chendian, Shantou, there is a tradition of holding a grand parade during the Double Ninth Festival to pray for good luck and happiness. After three years, the parade kicked off again, attracting overseas Chinese and people from surrounding towns and villages to attend.

The parade was led by a traditional Chaoshan Yingge Dance team, which attracted continuous cheers from the audience along the way.

Girls held flag banners embroidered with expressions of good wishes such as "peace and prosperity", "all industries flourish", and "everything goes well" in the parade. The atmosphere of the festival infected everyone on the scene, and every household along the parade was well-decorated and full of joy.

在汕头陈店，素有在重阳节举行巡游盛会，祈求吉祥幸福的传统。时隔三年，陈店重阳节巡游盛会再度重启，吸引了海内外游子及周边乡镇的群众前来观赏。

巡游的队伍由潮汕传统英歌队伍打头，气势磅礴的英歌舞表演引来沿路围观群众欢呼不断。

女生们手执绣有国泰民安，百业兴旺，万事如意等美好祝语标旗，跟着巡游队伍前行。节日的喜庆气氛感染了现场的每一个人，巡游队伍所到之处、家家户户张灯结彩，一派喜气洋洋。
