The 134th Canton Fair is approaching. What are the highlights worth paying attention to compared with previous sessions? Let's check out the exhibition traffic diversion, "wool blanket" made from plastic bottles, and chair made from coffee grounds.

Providing over 3500 parking spaces

The 134th Canton Fair will be held in three phases from October 15th to November 4th, 2023, at the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou, Guangzhou. The traffic diversion measures for the Canton Fair are also a major focus.

This year's Canton Fair will provide nearly 800 parking spaces for large buses and over 3,500 parking spaces for small cars, an increase of 9.6% and 36.9%, respectively compared to the previous session. At the same time, diversified transportation options will be provided. That is, in addition to the public transportation around the exhibition halls, pick-up points for taxis, online ride-hailing and airport shuttles are set up inside the exhibition halls.

In terms of crowd flow optimization, this year's Canton Fair will deploy approximately 500 units of verification and security inspection equipment, an increase of 8% compared to the 133rd Canton Fair, improving the efficiency of verification and passage. At the same time, 33 entrances for verification and security inspection will be set up, and the equipment configuration will be re-optimized based on the real-time density of the crowd flow at each entrance.

Over 2000 products participated in the selection of the CF Award

The CF Award was established by the Canton Fair in 2013 to better serve the high-quality development of international trade.

"The judges of the CF Award can represent the authorities of International premium buyers, design masters at home and abroad, and experts from inspection and testing institutions so as to ensure that the award-winning products pass the tests of innovation, function, quality, aesthetics and environmental protection," said Li Qinke, a staff of the business office of the Canton Fair. According to Li, this year's CF Awards involved 2,284 products from 1,288 participants, and finally, 141 award-winning products from 118 participants were selected by 29 of the world's top authoritative experts as judges.

Among the award-winning products, the design of a low-position lamp is very clever. It has taken great care and attention to detail in many aspects, such as touch control of the switch, precise control of brightness, and illumination surface of the light without direct eye exposure.

In recent years, the Canton Fair has also established the sub-award of the "Sustainable Development Award". The chair made from 40% coffee grounds and the blanket made from 100% recyclable plastic bottles jointly won this award.

Companies from seven countries participated in procurement

Ten multinational companies from seven countries, including Schneider Electric from France, Stiebel Eltron from the United States, and Kesko from Finland, will participate in the Canton Fair for procurement.

Compared with the 133rd Canton Fair, the multinational company procurement service zone has achieved double growth in the number of participating companies and exhibition booths. "Our exhibition booths are very tight. In the past, there were only six booths here, but this year, because there are too many companies signing up, we have increased it to seven," said Hu Qingqing, a staff member of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Canton Fair,"The establishment of this zone breaks the fixed mode of exhibition purchasers looking for exhibitors, and now, exhibitors can also come to find purchasers."

"This special area is mainly a service booth for purchasers to promote their own brands and procurement needs, further providing a negotiation and docking platform for exhibitors." Hu Qingqing added.

广交会开幕倒计时！这些亮点值得关注

展馆交通分流、塑料瓶“羊毛毯”、咖啡渣椅子……第134届广交会即将开幕，同往届相比，今年的这届广交会有哪些亮点值得关注？

提供超3500个小车停车位

第134届广交会将于2023年10月15日至11月4日分三期在广州琶洲广交会展馆举办，有关广交会车流引导的问题也是一大焦点。

本届广交会将提供近800个大客车停车位和超3500个小车停车位，比上届广交会分别增加9.6%和36.9%。同时提供多元化的出行方式，除展馆周边的公共交通系统外，在展馆内部分别设置了出租车、网约车、机场专线的候乘点。

在人流优化方面，本届广交会将投入验证、安检设备约500台（套），比第133届广交会增加8%，提高了验证通行效率。同时设置进场验证、安检入口33个，根据每个入口人流量的疏密程度，重新优化设备配置。

超2000件产品参与评选

CF奖是广交会为了更好地服务国际贸易高质量发展，从2013年开始创办的一个奖项。

“CF的评委都是能够代表国际大采购商、境内外设计专家以及检验检测专家等方面的权威力量，这样才能保证获奖产品能经受住美感、质量、品质、环保性等多方面的考验。”广交会业务办工作人员李沁珂向记者表示，今年的CF奖共有1288家单位的2284件产品参与，由29位全球顶尖的权威专家作为评委，最终评选出了118家单位的141件获奖产品。

在获奖产品中，一款低位照明桌灯的设计十分巧妙，它在开关的触控、亮度的精确控制、灯源的照射面以及光源不直射眼球等诸多细节上都做了很非常认真精细的考量。

广交会近年还创办了“可持续发展奖”子奖项。40%由咖啡渣材料制作的椅子和100%由可回收的塑料瓶制作的毛毯一起荣获该奖项。

来自7个国家的企业驻点采购

法国司纳德、美国史泰博、芬兰凯斯科等来自7个国家的10家跨国企业将驻点采购。

相比于春交会，跨国公司采购服务专区在参展企业数量和展位数量上实现了双增长。“我们的展位非常紧张，以往这边的展位都是6个，这一届因为实在有太多企业报名，所以我们增加到了7个。”广交会外事办工作人员胡青青向记者介绍道，“这一专区的设置打破了展会采购商找参展商的固定模式，变成了参展商也可以来找采购商。”

“这个专区主要是一个服务性的展位，采购商会利用这个展位做一些自己的设计来推广他们的品牌和采购需求，但是这个展位更大的一个功能是为参展企业提供了一个洽谈的场地和一个对接的平台。”胡青青补充道。
