Guangzhou Painted Porcelain, also known as Canton Porcelain, is a representative of Guangzhou's craftwork which emerged during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty.

As an important part of Lingnan culture, it is characterized by its vibrant colors and distinctive patterns.

Today, we will visit a master who makes Guangzhou Painted Porcelain——Tan Guanghui, the inheritor of Guangzhou Painted Porcelain.

Upon entering his workshop, we are shocked by the artworks displayed here. They are so exquisite! With a history of more than 300 years, Guangzhou Painted Porcelain is a unique blend of Chinese and Western styles. It takes a great deal of skill to make it -- only after years of training can one produce these high-quality Guangzhou Painted Porcelain.

As a matter of fact, making a piece of Guangzhou Painted Porcelain is very complicated. A perfect piece of work is done before being designed, line-drawing, coloring and firing.

What's more, painting on porcelain requires certain skills. Whether it's floral patterns, figures, landscapes, or architecture, each requires different tools and demands a high level of expertise.

In the workshop, there is a colorful world, with various plates and cups telling the glorious history of Guangzhou Painted Porcelain. Its vibrancy comes from a combination of bright pigments with the colors of red, yellow, green and so on. The works also feature various patterns, such as dragons, phoenixes and peonies. These patterns and colors represent the unique charm of Lingnan culture, as well as symbolizing auspiciousness and prosperity.

Guangzhou Painted Porcelain is not only a handicraft, but also a symbol of culture. Its craftsmanship and artistic value are not only cherished by the Chinese, but also appreciated and recognized by people around the world.

刚进入谭广辉的工作室，我们就被这里展示的各种精美的广州彩瓷艺术品震撼到。距今已有300多年历史的广彩，是“中西合璧”的独特彩瓷。而制作出这些艺术品需要非常精湛的技艺。只有经过多年的训练才能制作出高质量的广州彩瓷。

实际上，做好一件广彩的工序是非常复杂的，需要经过设计、描线、填色，再去烧制。

此外，在瓷器上作画需要一定的技术。画花、画人物、画山水、画建筑等，都各有工具，专业性很强。

在工作室里，满眼繁华，各式碟碗杯盘诉说着广彩的辉煌。广彩的图案和颜色非常丰富，有红色、黄色、绿色等多种颜色，而作品上面也画着各种图案，比如龙、凤、牡丹等，这些图案和颜色代表着岭南文化的独特魅力，也代表着吉祥和富贵。

广彩不仅是一种工艺品，还是一种文化符号。它的制作工艺和艺术价值不仅受到中国人的喜爱，也受到了世界各地人们的赞赏和认可。
