The closing ceremony of the 19th Asian Games was held at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium on October 8th.

The games were a spectacular display of sportsmanship and friendship, with athletes from all over Asia competing in various events. From the enthusiastic welcome at the opening ceremony to the reluctant farewell at the closing ceremony, every moment was unforgettable, during which athletes from all over Asia strove for excellence on the field and promoting friendship through communication. Together, they played a youthful tune of their own.

Themed "Enduring Memories of Hangzhou", the grand closing ceremony left a unique and unforgettable memory of the Hangzhou Asian Games with a carnival of bidding farewell to Hangzhou and gathering in Asia. Stories of anticipation, meeting, reunion and farewell continue to present and converge in Hangzhou.

What impresses the audience most are the athletes' competitive spirit, the warmth and friendship both on and off the field, and the volunteers' and staff's attentive service. The short film "Highlights of the 19th Asian Games" brought back memories of various scenes from the games, such as Zhang Yufei and Qin Haiyang winning six and five gold medals, respectively, and being named MVPs of the current Asian Games. Thirteen-year-old Cui Chenxi won gold in women's street skateboarding, becoming China's youngest gold medalist in Asian Games history. Wang Chuqin won four gold medals in the men's team, mixed doubles pairs, men's doubles pairs, and men's singles of table tennis, earning him the title of "King of Four Crowns". Others like Lin Yawei, Xie Zhenye, Quan Hongchan, and Zhang Zhizhen demonstrated their indomitable spirit and courage.

The Hangzhou Asian Games also left many touching moments. Gymnastics star Svetlana Khorkina challenged herself for her love of sport. Zhang Yufei warmly embraced Japanese swimmer Ikee Rikako. The audience cheered for the last athlete to finish the game. With victories and defeats, excitement and regret, unity and friendship, joy and tears, those friendships beyond sports will always remain.

The 19th Asian Games also innovated traditional events by adding e-sports and breakdancing projects to involve more young people in the big family of Asian Games, keeping the event up with the times.

On the other hand, the Hangzhou Asian Games, as a major sporting event, also showcased China's cultural confidence and national image. Be it the artistic performance at the opening ceremony or the special performing program at the closing ceremony, they all combined traditional Chinese elements with modern technology to show China's cultural heritage and comprehensive strength to the world.

As the closing ceremony drew to a close, Raja Randhir Singh, acting president of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), expressed gratitude to host cities and organizers and praise for all participants' efforts. As he said, "Joyful gatherings are often fleeting. While the flame of Asia Games may fade in time, its spirit will be passed on from generation to generation."

The digital torchbearer returned once again. This time, it transformed into stars that sprinkled over Hangzhou and flew towards Asia. The faded main torch marked the end of this grand sports feast. In this moving and memorable farewell, people appreciated the beautiful city of Hangzhou and looked forward to the next meeting.

杭州亚运会闭幕：精彩与感动同在

10月8日，杭州第19届亚运会闭幕式在杭州市奥体中心主体育场举行。

回顾本届亚运会，可以用“精彩纷呈”来形容。从开幕式的热情相迎，到闭幕式的依依惜别，每一刻都让人难以忘怀。十几天里，来自亚洲各地的运动员在赛场上拼搏奋进，在交流中促进友谊，共同奏响青春的乐章。

闭幕式以“最忆是杭州”为主题。从期盼到相会，从重逢到告别，以一场惜别杭州与欢聚亚洲的嘉年华欢歌，留下别样精彩的杭州亚运记忆。

“最忆”是运动健儿在赛场上的竞技激情，是赛场内外的温暖情谊，是志愿者和工作人员的贴心服务。伴随短片《亚运精彩瞬间》的播放，人们的思绪被牵回亚运会赛场上的一幕幕：

游泳运动员张雨霏和覃海洋分别斩获六金和五金，他们同时获评杭州亚运会MVP（最有价值运动员）；13岁的崔宸曦夺得滑板女子街式冠军，她也是中国亚运历史上年龄最小的金牌得主；王楚钦在本届亚运会斩获乒乓球男团、混双、男双和男单四枚金牌，加冕“四冠王”；还有林雨薇、谢震业、全红婵、张之臻……他们展示了不屈不挠和勇往直前的体育精神。

杭州亚运会留下太多感动瞬间。体操名将丘索维金娜为了热爱仍在挑战自我，张雨霏和日本选手池江璃花子的温暖相拥，全场观众为最后一名完赛的选手加油……胜利与失败，激动与遗憾，团结与友爱，欢乐与泪水，那些超越体育的情谊永远留存。

本届亚运会也是对传统赛事的一次创新。电子竞技和霹雳舞项目的新增，让更多的年轻人参与到亚运会的大家庭中来，也让赛事更贴近时代脉搏。

作为一场重大的体育盛事，杭州亚运会也展示了中国的文化自信和国家形象。无论是开幕式的文艺表演，还是闭幕式的特色节目，都把中国传统元素与现代科技相结合，让世界看到了中国的文化底蕴和综合实力。

闭幕式接近尾声时，亚奥理事会代理主席辛格赞扬了所有参赛者的努力，并对主办城市和组织人员表示感谢。正如他所说，“美好的欢聚总是短暂。亚运的圣火即将熄灭，但亚运的精神将薪火相传，生生不息。”

“数字火炬手”再次返场，他幻化满天星光，洒向杭州，飞向亚洲。主火炬熄灭，象征着这场体育盛宴落下帷幕。在这充满感动与不舍的告别中，人们感谢杭州这座美丽的城市，也无比期待下一次的相聚。
