The 13th China International Animation Copyright Fair (ACTIF2023 ) is to be held atGuangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Houjie Town, Dongguan City, from July 20th to23rd. The organizing committee has introduced the preparation progress and highlights of the Fair at a press conference held in Guangzhou on July 12th.
As the only national-level animation fair in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,the ACTIFhas been successfully held 12 times since its debut in Dongguan in 2009. It is reported that the coming Fair covers a total area of 20,800 square meters, with 1600 international standard booths set up inside. Over 500 enterprises and institutions from 40 countries and regions will show up (of which over 300 will participate via online platforms), to exhibit more than 1,500 IPs including world-renowned ones likeSnoopy,Teletubbies,Pokémon andShaun the Sheep, marking the largest number of participating international enterprises and IPs in recent years.
Twenty industrial matchmaking activities will be held before and during the Fair, including the special matchmaking meetings featuring "IP +Designer Toys" and "IP + Cultural Tourism", as well as the private China IP BANK animation copyright venture meeting and the Guangdong animation topic sharing meeting, which cover almost the whole animation industrial chain and will promote the communication and transaction among relevant industries.
According to the organizing committee, they are also planning to hold public activities such as the "Night of DesignerAnimationToys", the Carnival of Chinese Animations and Brands, the Chinese Brands Fashion Show and the Interactive Activity to experiencetraditional Chinese culture, while a series of fashion events will kick off all around Dongguan to enable citywide interaction and participation.
As a professional and international animation fair, the ACTIF serves as a significant platform to fully display and also promote the high-quality development of China's animation industry. Up to now, its 12 sessions successfully held have witnessed more than 4,500 enterprises participating in the exhibition and achieveda trading volume of over 25 billion RMB. Since its settlement in Dongguan, the ACTIF has attracted a large amount of excellent original animations and renowned IPs from home and abroad to gather in the city.
As a famous "international manufacturing city", Dongguan has been vigorously promoting the integrated development of "animation + manufacturing" based on its solid manufacturing foundation. Through the injection of culture into the design and manufacturing of toys, it has managed to upgrade the traditional manufacturing industry, thus forming an emerging industry of trendy toys that is constantly growing stronger. At present, Dongguan has become a gathering place forfashional toys from around the globe.
According to the organizing committee, at the launching ceremony of the ACTIF2023 on July 20th,the China Toy & Juvenile Products Association will award Dongguan the plaque of "Capital of China's Designer Toys". An exhibition area featuring the capital of designer toys will also be set up to fully present the regional characteristics of Dongguan, the center of the industry of designer toys.
第十三届漫博会即将在广东东莞开幕，参展IP超1500多个
第十三届中国国际影视动漫版权保护和贸易博览会（以下简称“中国国际动漫博览会”）定于7月20日至23日在东莞市厚街镇广东现代国际展览中心举行。7月12日，中国国际动漫博览会组委会在广州召开新闻发布会，介绍本届展会的筹备情况和特色亮点。
作为粤港澳大湾区唯一国家级动漫展会，中国国际动漫博览会自2009年落户东莞以来，已成功举办十二届。据介绍，本届展会总面积20800平方米，设国际标准展位1600个。引入40个国家和地区的500多家企业机构（其中300多家通过线上平台参展），参展IP达1500多个，史努比、天线宝宝、宝可梦、小羊肖恩等国际知名IP集中亮相，参与的国际企业和国际IP数量均为近年最多。
在展前和展期将策划举办20场产业对接活动，包括“IP+潮玩”专场对接会、“IP+文旅”专场对接会、中国IP BANK影视动漫版权创投闭门会、粤产动画主题分享等，几乎覆盖动漫全产业链条，促进相关产业充分交流交易。
组委会还透露，展会还将策划“中国潮玩之都·动漫潮玩之夜”、国漫国潮嘉年华、千人百变国潮秀、“六艺八雅”互动体验等公众活动，同时结合展会在东莞全市联动开展系列潮流活动，营造全城互动、全民参与的良好氛围。
作为动漫领域的专业性、国际化展会，中国国际动漫博览会是全方位展示、推动我国影视动漫产业高质量发展的重要平台，至今已成功举办十二届，累计参展企业4500多家，成交金额超250亿元。中国国际动漫博览会落户东莞以来，吸引了国内外大量优秀原创动漫内容和知名IP汇聚东莞。
东莞依托“国际制造名城”的雄厚制造业基础，大力推动“动漫+制造”融合发展，通过文化赋能玩具的设计生产，促进传统制造业提档升级，发展培育了“潮玩”这一新兴产业，并不断引导其发展壮大，目前东莞已成为全球潮玩集聚地。
据组委会介绍，在7月20日中国国际动漫博览会启动仪式上，中国玩具和婴童用品协会将授予东莞“中国潮玩之都”的匾牌，本届展会也将新设东莞潮玩之都展区，全面呈现潮玩产业重地的城市特色和地域特色。
