On the evening of October 23rd, Charlie Puth kicked off the Chinese mainland leg of his "Whatever's Clever! World Tour" at the stadium of the Greater Bay Area Culture and Sports Center in Nansha, drawing nearly 20,000 music fans. Carried by the sea breeze, the intro to "See You Again" echoed along the shores of the Lingdingyang Estuary. The concert marked the first large-scale solo commercial performance in Nansha since its establishment as a district.

A four-time Grammy nominee with over 35 billion global streams and nine platinum singles, Charlie Puth brought his signature hits to Nansha, alternating between singing at the piano and stepping to the front of the stage to interact with the crowd.

He performed a string of hits including "We Don't Talk Anymore," "Attention," and "See You Again," with the audience joining in for massive sing-alongs during the choruses. While performing "Attention," he improvised by changing the lyric "every party in LA" to "every party in Guangzhou." Reflecting on the moment, he remarked, "Music's such a universal thing," describing music as a shared language.

Taking place on the eve of the Guangzhou Open, the concert was also attended by seven players from the tournament, including Shi Han and Wu Fang-Hsien. Shi Han, who received a main-draw wildcard, described the show as "stunning" and a wonderful surprise. Chinese Taipei player Wu Fang-Hsien, competing in Nansha for the first time, praised the hotel and courts, calling the trip an unforgettable experience.

10月23日晚，查理·普斯“凡事皆灵”世界巡回演唱会中国大陆首站，在南沙大湾区文化体育中心体育场开唱，近2万名乐迷到场。海风中，《See You Again》的前奏在伶仃洋畔响起。这是南沙建区以来首个大型个人专场演艺项目。

四度获格莱美奖提名、全球流媒体播放量超350亿次、拥有9首白金单曲的查理·普斯，把经典作品带到南沙。他在钢琴前弹唱，也走向台前与乐迷互动。

他接连唱响《We Don't Talk Anymore》《Attention》《See You Again》，副歌汇成合唱。演唱《Attention》时，他把歌词中的“every party in LA”即兴改成“every party in Guangzhou”；他感慨“Music's such a universal thing”，称音乐是一种共通的语言。

当晚正值广州国际女子网球公开赛开赛前，施晗、吴芳娴等七名广网球员到场观演。拿到正赛外卡的施晗称“震撼”，直言是意外惊喜；首次来南沙比赛的中国台北选手吴芳娴表示，酒店、赛场都很好，这是难忘的体验。
