On October 22nd, the "Discover Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Foshan | Foshan Inbound Tourism Promotion 2026" organized by the Foshan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports was underway. A group of overseas travel trade representatives and social media influencers from countries including Spain, Cambodia and Canada visited Shunde, a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, for an immersive cultural heritage tour featuring site visits, hands-on craft experiences and food tasting.

That morning, the group visited Chengyi Shailang Factory, a production base for Xiangyunsha silk, a national-level intangible cultural heritage, and a center for passing down its traditional techniques. Known as "soft gold," Xiangyunsha is distinguished by its unique texture, created through a traditional dyeing and finishing process using a natural dye extracted from Shuliang tubers. Lin Jinshuang, a social media blogger from Cambodia, was visiting Shunde for the first time. After watching artisans dye fabric with natural Shuliang, she said the traditional technique was fascinating and novel.

The group then visited Changlu Tourism Expo Park and Qinghui Garden, one of the four famous gardens of Lingnan. The garden's pavilions and halls are arranged amid lush old trees. A representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage demonstrated Guangzhou embroidery, with colorful threads moving through her fingers as patterns took shape on the silk. Spanish guest Javier Martinez Candial watched closely throughout the demonstration and took photos to check the details, remarking that the patterns on the front and back of the Guangzhou embroidery were exactly the same.

The experience went beyond observation. The visitors made Shunde milk slices by hand and sampled local desserts, including Zhou Daniang's double-skin milk pudding, ginger milk curd and phoenix milk custard. Canadian blogger Sandra Mbuthia said that the seemingly simple milk slices involved more craftsmanship than expected and tasted similar to salty cheese.

At nightfall, an intangible cultural heritage-themed dinner was held at Deyunju, featuring Shunde specialties such as raw fish salad, deboned fish soup, sweet and sour pork, and Lunjiao cake served with fried milk. Using intangible cultural heritage as a bridge, Foshan is bringing the ancient culture of Lingnan to the world.

多国文旅达人探访顺德，解锁多元化岭南非遗

10月22日，由佛山市文广旅体局举办的“遇见非遗·佛山市非遗入境旅游推广活动”正在开展。一批来自西班牙、柬埔寨、加拿大等国的外国旅游经销商和自媒体达人走进“世界美食之都”顺德，通过实地探访、手工体验与美食品鉴，开启沉浸式非遗游。

当日上午，探访团走进成艺晒莨厂，探访国家级非遗香云纱的传承与制作基地。香云纱有“软黄金”之誉，依托独特的薯莨染整工艺造就独一无二的面料质感。来自柬埔寨的自媒体博主林金爽首次到访顺德，亲眼见证匠人用天然薯莨为布料染色，直言古法工艺令人新奇。

随后，探访团打卡长鹿旅游休博园与岭南四大名园之一的清晖园。园内亭台楼阁错落，古木葱茏；非遗代表性传承人现场演绎广绣，彩线在指尖流转，图案跃然绸面。西班牙嘉宾Javier Martinez Candial全程专注观摩，还拍照核对，“广绣作品正反两面的图案完全一模一样”。

体验不止于观看。探访团动手制作顺德牛乳片，品尝周大娘双皮奶、姜撞奶、凤凰奶糊等甜品。加拿大博主Sandra Mbuthia说，看似简单的牛乳片实则暗藏门道，风味近似咸奶酪。

夜幕降临，非遗主题晚宴在德云居开席，风生水起鱼生、拆鱼羹、咕噜肉、伦教糕拼炸牛奶等顺德味道上桌。以非遗为纽带，佛山正把古老岭南文化推向世界。
