On October 2nd, Shenzhen'sYantian Port completed the handling of 28,684 TEU s (twenty-foot equivalent units ) on a single vessel, setting a new record for single-vessel container throughput at Chinese ports. This surging single-vessel throughput reflects China's expanding global shipping network and rising international logistics demand.
Yantian Port currently operates around 100 global shipping routes weekly, 53 of which connect with APEC member economies, with 14 added this year alone. The increasingly dense shipping network provides a fast, efficient gateway linking import and export cargo to markets worldwide.
