The 2nd Guangdong AI Application Matchmaking Conference was held in Guangzhou on September 22.Guangdong's AI foundations were laid out on the table: the province is home to more than 20 million registered business entities, the most in China; over 50,000 industrial enterprises above designated size have completed digital transformation; and 193 large AI models have passed Cyberspace Administration of China filings, placing the province in the country's first tier. Its manufacturing base covers all 31 industrial categories and 10 trillion-yuan industrial clusters. For companies, this is no longer a choice of whether to use AI, but a question of when AI agents will move in.

At the event, four national pilot testing bases for AI applications in healthcare, energy, consumer goods and education released their results. The healthcare base introduced version 2.0 of a major public health infectious disease early-warning, prediction and assessment system, drawing on nine categories of core data including clinical records, public opinion and drug sales. The energy and consumer goods bases released a pilot co-creation platform and the "Terminal AI Innovation Platform 1.0" respectively.

The provincial government services and data administration released the "Wanshu" high-quality dataset and corpus service platform matrix, with 3,600 datasets and 20,000 data sources catalogued in the first batch, due for full launch on December 12. The event also announced the 2026 Guangdong AI and Robotics Skills Competition, the "Top 100 Assembly" of the inaugural Super AI Agent Competition.

AI is spreading beyond the venue as well: AI phones, AI glasses and AI toys are emerging across Guangdong, and one in every three smartphones worldwide is made within in the province.

Guangdong is turning "AI+" into a list that can be matched, verified and replicated. Data reflects the achievements, while the venue reflects the momentum — the landscape of AI applications is rolling out across Guangdong.

9月22日，第二届广东省人工智能应用对接大会在广州举行。

广东的AI“家底”摆在台面上：全省经营主体超过2000万户，稳居全国第一；超5万家规上工业企业完成数字化转型；193款大模型通过网信备案，居全国第一方阵；扎实的制造底盘——31个制造业大类全覆盖，10个万亿级产业集群。对企业而言，这已不是“要不要用AI”的选择题，而是“智能体何时进场”的必答题。

大会现场，医疗、能源、消费、教育领域4家国家人工智能应用中试基地同台发布成果。医疗基地推出重大公共卫生传染病预警预测研判机2.0，汇聚临床病历、舆情、药物销量等9大类核心数据；能源、消费基地也分别发布中试共创平台和“终端AI创新平台1.0”。

省政务和数据局发布“湾数”高质量数据集（语料）服务平台矩阵，首批已编目3600个数据集、20000个数据源，12月12日将全面上线运行。会上还发布了2026年广东省人工智能与机器人技能大赛、首届超级智能体大赛“百强集结”活动。

AI落地也不只在会场：AI手机、AI眼镜、AI玩具正在广东竞相涌现，全球每3台手机就有1台“广东造”。

广东正把“人工智能+”落成一张可对接、可验证、可复制的清单。数据体现成就，现场体验热度，人工智能的应用图景正在南粤大地上铺展开来。
