On September 21st, a launch event for Traditional Guangzhou Morning Tea Establishments was held at the Guangzhou Cultural & Arts Centre, where the first lists of "Traditional Guangzhou Morning Tea Establishments" for individual outlets and headquarters were announced. Forty restaurants, including Colour Canton, The Four Seasons (China Hotel), and Xinxing Jiayu Restaurant, were recognized as "Traditional Guangzhou Morning Tea Establishments (Outlets)," while Guangzhou Restaurant, Tao Tao Ju, and Dim Dou Duk Restaurant were recognized as "Traditional Guangzhou Morning Tea Establishments (Headquarters)."

A total of 197 outlets across the city applied for the evaluation. Following rigorous document screening and on-site assessments by a third-party evaluation agency, 40 outlets stood out from the rest. In addition, three headquarters passed the evaluation, along with 72 outlets operating under them. This brought the total number of recognized outlets in the first batch to 112.

From shrimp dumplings and Cantonese chicken cookies to barbecued pork pastries, egg tarts, and mango pomelo sago buns, dim sum chefs showcased their handcrafted specialties at the booths of the Traditional Guangzhou Morning Tea Establishments. Meanwhile, intangible cultural heritage (ICH) activities, including Guangzhou olive carving, Wing Chun, and herbal sachet making, allowed guests to experience the diverse charm of Cantonese ICH up close. The event not only highlighted the cultural significance of the Cantonese tea-drinking tradition but also made the preservation of Guangzhou's traditional morning tea culture tangible and accessible.

With a pot of tea and a couple of dim sum dishes, Guangzhou's morning tea culture offers a warm and down-to-earth taste of everyday life.

40家早茶门店上榜！首批“广州早茶传统店”名单发布

9月21日，广州早茶传统店发布会在广州市文化馆举行，现场发布第一批“广州早茶传统店（门店）”“广州早茶传统店（总部）”名单。广州塔晖粤轩中餐厅、中国大酒店·四季中国、新兴家喻酒家等40家餐厅摘得“广州早茶传统店（门店）”称号，广州酒家、陶陶居、点都德荣膺“广州早茶传统店（总部）”。

此次评价活动，全市共有197家门店申报。经第三方评价机构严谨的资料初筛和现场评价，40家早茶门店脱颖而出，另有3家总部通过评价，这3家总部的门店有72家，即112家门店通过第一批评价。

虾饺、鸡仔饼、叉烧酥、鸡蛋挞、杨枝甘露包……活动现场，在各家“广州早茶传统店”的展位，点心师傅纷纷亮出了自己的手作绝活，而广州榄雕、咏春拳、中药香囊制作等非遗项目，更是让与会嘉宾近距离感受到广府非遗的多样魅力，既展现了广府饮茶习俗的文化内涵，也让广州早茶传统的传承可感可及。

一盅两件慢享时光，广州早茶藏着最踏实、暖心的人间烟火气。
