Guangdong's foreign trade reached 5.49 trillion yuan in the first half of 2026, surpassing the 5-trillion-yuan mark for the first time in any first-half period, according to the Guangdong Sub-Administration of the General Administration of Customs of China. The figure represented a year-on-year increase of 20.8% and accounted for 21.6% of China's total foreign trade. Guangdong's trade value increased by 944.71 billion yuan, contributing 25.6% of the country's overall foreign trade growth. The province ranked first nationwide in its share of total trade, incremental trade value and contribution to growth. Of the total, exports rose 11.6% to 3.22 trillion yuan, while imports surged 36.8% to 2.27 trillion yuan. In June alone, Guangdong's monthly foreign trade exceeded 1 trillion yuan for the first time on record.

Monthly trade figures repeatedly reached new highs. Guangdong's monthly foreign trade topped 900 billion yuan for the first time in January. New monthly records were then set for three consecutive months in April, May and June. In June alone, the province's imports and exports totaled 1.05 trillion yuan, marking the first time its monthly trade value had exceeded the 1-trillion-yuan threshold.
Solid progress was made in market diversification. Guangdong maintained trade relations with 252 countries and regions in the first half of the year. Trade with emerging markets continued to expand. The province's trade with ASEAN and Latin America reached 857.42 billion yuan and 277.35 billion yuan, respectively. The benefits of zero-tariff treatment for all 53 African countries with diplomatic ties to China continued to materialize. Trade between Guangdong and Africa climbed 23.3% to a record 178.44 billion yuan. Among traditional markets, Guangdong's trade with Hong Kong, China; the European Union; the United States; and South Korea stood at 829.93 billion yuan, 579.93 billion yuan, 487.48 billion yuan, and 307.02 billion yuan, respectively.
Guangdong's exports are becoming increasingly technology-intensive and green. Guangdong exported 2.27 trillion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products in the first half of the year, an increase of 16%. These products accounted for more than 70% of the province's total export value. Exports of integrated circuits surged 61.4% to 266.7 billion yuan, while exports of computers and their components rose 14.6% to 246.12 billion yuan. Guangdong's high-end manufacturing sector demonstrated strong international competitiveness. Exports of drones, high-end machine tools and industrial robots grew by 24.6%, 20.1% and 16.8%, respectively. Exports of green and low-carbon products also delivered an impressive performance, with exports of lithium batteries and electric vehicles rising by 42.7% and 35.3%, respectively.
首破5万亿元!2026年上半年广东外贸创新高
据海关总署广东分署统计,上半年广东外贸进出口5.49万亿元,历史同期首次突破5万亿元大关,增长20.8%,占全国外贸的21.6%,贸易增量9447.1亿元,对全国外贸增长的贡献率达25.6%,外贸的份额、增量、贡献均位居全国首位。其中,出口3.22万亿元,增长11.6%;进口2.27万亿元,增长36.8%。6月份进出口规模历史首次突破万亿元。
月度规模屡创新高。1月份,广东外贸规模首次突破9000亿元,4月、5月、6月连续三次刷新历史纪录。单6月,广东进出口1.05万亿元,月度规模历史首次突破万亿元大关。
市场多元化扎实推进。上半年,广东与252个国家或地区有贸易往来。其中,对东盟、拉美等新兴市场分别进出口8574.2亿、2773.5亿元;对53个非洲建交国全面实施“零关税”红利释放,粤非贸易规模达到创纪录的1784.4亿元,增长23.3%。对中国香港、欧盟、美国和韩国等传统市场分别进出口8299.3亿、5799.3亿、4874.8亿和3070.2亿元。
出口产品“向新”“向绿”。上半年,广东出口机电产品2.27万亿元,增长16%,占全省出口总值超7成。其中,集成电路出口2667亿元,增长61.4%;电脑及其零部件出口2461.2亿元,增长14.6%;高端制造展现出较强的国际竞争力,无人机、高端机床、工业机器人等出口分别增长24.6%、20.1%、16.8%。绿色低碳产品出口亮眼,锂电池、电动汽车出口增长42.7%、35.3%。
