活了594年!“盐步老龙”正式出水
City Life | On June 6, the oldest surviving dragon boat in China, the "Yanbu Old Dragon Boat," was brought back to life through a "Waking the Dragon" ritualin Yanbu Village, Dali Town, Foshan. Its history dates back to the 7th year of the Xuande reign of the Ming Dynasty (1432). Measuring 36.8 meters in length, with 68 seats and a weight of about 4 tonnes, the dragon boat is now 594 years old. Villagers removed the mud covering the boat, and washed it with river water, symbolically awakening the centuries-old vessel once again. Many local residents gathered to witness this ancient intangible cultural heritage tradition and welcome the good fortune of the Dragon Boat Festival.
2026年6月6日,全国现存最古老的龙舟“盐步老龙”在佛山大沥镇盐步龙沙涌起龙出水。该龙舟始建于明朝宣德七年(1432年),至今已有594年历史,船身长36.8米,设68个座位,净重约4吨。现场展示了老龙出水全过程,村民拨开老龙身上的淤泥,用河水清洗龙舟,594岁的老龙再次苏醒,许多市民前来观看这项非遗古俗,共纳端午福气。
