On May 15th, heavy rain swept across multiple districts of Guangzhou. A child riding a bicycle accidentally fell and was about to be washed away. At the critical moment, five nearby delivery riders simultaneously rushed into the water up to their calves from different directions and worked together to pull the child back to safety. This scene was captured by a citizen in a nearby office building and became the most heartwarming footage online that day.

He Guoqing, one of the riders involved in the rescue, recalled later, "Several of us rushed over immediately. We didn't know each other, but all of us dashed into the water without hesitation."

In interviews after the incident, the riders all described their actions as ordinary. "I didn't think much." "Anyone would have done the same." "It's nothing worth boasting about."

In fact, this seemingly spontaneous act of kindness came at a cost. Time is the most precious resource for delivery riders. Even so, when they saw someone in danger, they did not look away. Zhao Liangjin, a parent himself, said that seeing another child in danger made him anxious.

Notably, the riders involved in the rescue later received honors and bonuses from their respective delivery platforms. This recognition was not only a form of encouragement, but also reflected the prevailing moral valuesof the whole society.

He Guoqing said that Guangzhou is an inclusive city, which is why he has chosen to stay there. The "inclusiveness" he referred to also includes the instinctive empathy and willingness to lend a helping hand among strangers. Just like when a child fell in the rainstorm, someone saw it and ran over to pull him up. Afterward, everyone simply returned to their daily lives. Perhaps this is how ordinary people quietly light up a city.

从暴雨里的共同奔赴看见广州的温度

5月15日，广州多区大雨滂沱。一个骑车的孩子不慎摔倒，眼看就要被湍急的水流卷走。危急时刻，五位附近的外卖骑手，从不同方向同时冲进没过小腿的水中，合力将孩子拉了回来。这一幕被旁边办公楼上的市民拍下，成为当日全网最动人的画面。

参与救人的骑手何国庆后来回忆：“当时有好几个人一起追上去，互相也不认识，但都冲进了水里。”

几位骑手在事后接受采访时，都把事情说得很寻常。“没想那么多。”“碰到都会去。”“不值得到处夸张地说。”

其实，看似“顺手”的救人，并非没有代价。对于骑手来说，时间几乎是他们最宝贵的资源。但即便如此，在遇到他人陷入困境时，他也没有选择视而不见。赵良金说，自己也有孩子，因此看到别人家的孩子遇险，“心都急了”。

值得一提的是，此次参与救人的骑手们分别获得所在平台颁发的荣誉和奖金。这是一种鼓励，更显示出一个社会的道德导向。

骑手何国庆说，广州很包容，所以自己一直留在这里。他所说的“包容”，也包含着人与人之间，那些自然而然的将心比心和“顺手”相帮吧。就像孩子摔倒在暴雨里，有人看见了，就跑过去把他拉起来。事情结束后，大家又继续各自的生活。所谓凡人微光，大概就是如此。
