Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders | In April, Conghua is lush with greenery. Recently, flocks of egrets have appeared along the streams of the Liuxi River, gliding gracefully above the water and through the trees. These “fairies” choose to stay because of the thriving environment. Located in the northern ecological zone of the Greater Bay Area, Conghua has a forest coverage rate of 69.1%. Years of water management and wetland restoration have significantly improved water quality, making it an ideal habitat for egrets. The growing number of bird species is a vivid sign of a greener, more vibrant Conghua.

四月的从化，绿意铺满山头和河岸。流溪河畔最近来了一批“白色精灵”——成群鹭鸟在水面与林间翩跹起舞。

这些“白色精灵”愿意留下来，说到底还是环境够好。从化地处大湾区北部生态屏障核心区，森林覆盖率高达69.1%。这些年持续治水、修复湿地，把水环境越养越干净，自然就成了鹭鸟的理想家园。

越来越多的鸟类选择在从化驻足，不只是生态改善的注脚，更是绿美从化最生动的名片。
