According to preliminary estimates, during the three-day Qingming Festival holiday in 2026 (from April 4th to April 6th), Guangdong received 19.85 million tourists, generating tourism revenue of 10.43 billion yuan.

Public cultural institutions and tourist attractions at all levels adopted a combination of online and offline approaches to revitalize local cultural and tourism resources, actively organizing high-quality and heartwarming activities that enriched the public's holiday experience.

On April 4th, the first "Savor Guangdong" Cultural Tourism Travel Guide Event, co-hosted by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province and the Jieyang Municipal People's Government, kicked off in Jieyang Ancient City. The event featured Yingge dance, green lion dance performances, and tasting sessions by international food bloggers, vividly bringing to life the Cantonese aesthetics of "savoring life."

In Meizhou, rural attractions such as the Guizhu Village homestay clusters, Yushui Ancient Village, Yearning Tea Plantation, and Nanfu Golden Pomelo Planting Base attracted a large number of tourists. In Dongguan, multiple scenic spots in various towns and parks, including Huayang Lake National Wetland Park, Songhu Yanyu (Misty Rain over Songshan Lake), leveraged their ecological resources to launch flower-viewing activities such as the Cherry Blossom Festival, Hydrangea Flower Exhibition, and Huazhao Festival, presenting a vibrant spring scene and providing residents and tourists with a variety of options for spring outings.

Yangjiang's rural tourism attractions, featuring open-air barbecues, flower viewing, fishing, fruit and vegetable picking, farm-style cuisine, and farming experiences, have continued to gain popularity. The Maritime Silk Road Museum of Guangdong launched a kite-making activity, and Hailing Island Mangrove National Wetland Park has become a popular destination for residents to enjoy spring outings.

清明假期三天，广东接待游客1985.1万人次

据初步测算，2026年清明假期三天（4月4日—4月6日），全省接待游客1985.1万人次，实现旅游收入104.3亿元。

4月4日，省文化和旅游厅联合揭阳市人民政府主办的首届“周末叹广东”全民文旅攻略大赏活动在揭阳古城启幕，活动以“东西南北中，周末叹广东”为主题，融合英歌舞、青狮表演与国际美食博主品鉴，生动诠释“叹”生活的粤式美学。

梅州筀竹村民宿集群、玉水古村落、雁南飞茶田、南福金柚种植基地等乡村田园产品吸引大量游客；东莞联合华阳湖国家湿地公园、松湖烟雨等各镇街（园区）多家景区依托生态资源，推出樱花节、绣球花展、花朝节等赏花活动，呈现百花争艳的春日盛景，为市民游客踏青寻春提供了丰富选择。

阳江以露天烧烤、赏花垂钓、果蔬采摘、农家美食、农事体验为主题的乡村旅游景区持续升温，广东海上丝绸之路博物馆推出“清风寄远·纸鸢传情——手工风筝制作”活动，海陵岛红树林湿地公园等成为市民踏青好去处。
