Recently, a photo capturing a street scene of Guangzhou Science City in Huangpu District unexpectedly went viral on overseas social media platforms. The image, featuring blooming pink silk floss flowers alongside a slowly passing bus in warm sunlight, creates a calm and soothing atmosphere. However, the photo was appropriated by South Korean netizens on overseas platforms with a caption claiming, "This is Seoul." The single post garnered over a million views, sparking heated discussions.

The photographer of the photo, Luo Wenrui, is a junior student at the School of Information Technology and Engineering, Guangzhou College of Commerce. He said it was an unexpected reward to see a casually taken photo help overseas netizens discover the romance and gentleness of Guangzhou. In his view, the reason the photo moved so many overseas viewers lies in Guangzhou's unique scenery. 

Every November, when China's northern cities have already entered winter with snowfall, Guangzhou still enjoys blooming silk floss trees and brilliant sunshine. This contrast creates a striking visual effect and conveys the city's warm and welcoming character. Luo also explicitly called on netizens to respect original creators when reposting or creating derivative works.

In Luo's eyes, Guangzhou's charm goes far beyond this single frame of flower blossoms. What truly fascinates him is the city's unique fusion of history and modernity. As a millennium-old commercial hub, Guangzhou features historic arcade buildings in Xiguan that preserve its cultural heritage, alongside the skyscrapers of Zhujiang New Town that reflect its modern vitality. 

Every street and alley is imbued with a sense of warmth and storytelling, creating a genuine and comforting urban atmosphere that motivates him to keep documenting the city through his camera."I hope that through my own lens and perspective, more people can fall in love with Guangzhou," said Luo. He admitted that promoting his hometown through his works is the greatest reward he gets from photography.

该照片的拍摄者——广州商学院信息技术与工程学院大三学生罗文睿表示，能通过一张随手拍摄的照片，让海外网友看到广州的浪漫与温柔，也是一份意外的收获。在他看来，照片之所以能打动海外网友，核心在于广州的独特景致——每年11月，当北方多城市已入冬飘雪时，广州依然有盛放的异木棉与灿烂阳光，这种反季节的风景自带视觉冲击力，也传递出这座城市的温暖气质。除此之外，罗文睿明确呼吁，希望网友在引用或二创他人作品时，能尊重原创。

在罗文睿眼中，广州的魅力远不止这一帧花海，更在于其新旧交融的独特气质。他提到，这座千年商都既有老西关骑楼承载的历史底蕴，也有珠江新城高楼彰显的现代活力，街头巷尾的每一处场景都藏着温柔与故事感，这种真实而治愈的氛围，正是他坚持用镜头记录广州的动力。“我觉得可以通过我自己的镜头、我自己的视角，让更多的人爱上这座城市，让更多的人爱上广州。”罗文睿坦言，能用镜头宣传家乡，是他拍照最大的收获。
