On March 28th local time, thrilling news emerged from the Portuguese round of the World Superbike Championship (WSBK). Chinese brand ZXMOTO clinched the championship, becoming the first Chinese manufacturer to stand on the highest podium of this top-tier event and completely breaking the decades-long dominance of European, American, and Japanese manufacturers. Little known to the public, the fuel tank coating of this championship-winning motorcycle was applied by Sihui Nanyue Locomotive Parts Co., Ltd., based in Sihui, Zhaoqing.

Founded in 1997, Nanyue Motorcycle has been deeply engaged in motorcycle fuel tank production and advanced component coating for nearly 30 years. Dai Jinfeng, general manager of the company, recalled that during their initial collaboration, Zhang Xue explicitly expressed his hope that the cosmetic finishes of Chinese domestic motorcycles could catch up with international standards. "Therefore, we have always adhered to the highest standards in the quality control of exterior parts, never daring to compromise," Dai said.

"In China's motorcycle coatings industry, we were the first to introduce an independently developed 'Dual-Cure' process to the market," Dai proudly stated. Launched in 2015, this process offers significant advantages over the traditional PU (polyurethane) clear coating process. The coating hardness is increased by 30%, rendering it highly scratch-resistant and ensuring no wash-induced swirl marks are left on the motorcycle, while also delivering superior finish depth.

It is precisely this dedication to ultimate quality that prompted Zhang Xue to immediately turn to this old friend upon founding his own motorcycle brand. He confidently entrusted Nanyue Motorcycle with the fuel tank coating for the 820RR-RS and 500RR models, as well as the complete production and coating of fuel tanks for the 500F (120) model. The fuel tank of the 820RR-RS racing motorcycle, which recently triumphed on the international track, features exactly this dual-curing coating process independently developed by Nanyue Motorcycle.

当地时间3月28日,世界超级摩托车锦标赛葡萄牙站传来振奋人心的消息——中国品牌张雪机车一举夺冠,成为首个站上该项顶级赛事最高领奖台的中国厂商,彻底打破了欧美日企业数十年的垄断格局。鲜为人知的是,这辆冠军战车的油箱涂装,正出自肇庆四会的南粤机车部件有限公司。
创办于1997年的南粤机车,深耕摩托车油箱生产和配套塑料件喷涂领域已有近30年。公司总经理戴金凤回忆,初次合作时,张雪就明确提出,希望国内机车外观装饰能跟上国际水平,“所以我们在外观件的质量把控上,一直按照最高标准来,一点都不敢松懈。”
“在国内摩托车涂装行业,我们是第一个把自主研发的双重固化工艺推向市场的。”戴金凤自豪地介绍,这项2015年推出的工艺,比传统PU罩光工艺优势明显:涂层硬度提升30%,不仅耐摩擦,车主洗车时不会留下划痕,外观丰满度也更好。
正是这份“极致”,让张雪在创立自有机车品牌后,第一时间就想到了这位“老朋友”——将820RR-RS赛车、500RR车型的油箱涂装,以及500F(120)车型油箱的生产与涂装,全部放心交给南粤机车。而这次在国际赛场上夺冠的820RR-RS赛车,其油箱所采用的,正是南粤机车自主研发的“双重固化涂装工艺”。
