Video | Shenzhen launches China's first 10,000-unit automated humanoid robot production line
source:羊城晚报-PEARL| 发表时间:2026-03-31 23:02

On March 30th, reporters learned from Leju (Shenzhen) Robotics Co., Ltd. that China's first automated production line for humanoid robots with an annual capacity exceeding 10,000 units has officially gone into operation in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, marking a breakthrough in large-scale humanoid robot production.

With an annual capacity exceeding 10,000 units, the production line can produce one humanoid robot every 30 minutes, efficiently meeting the market's demand for large-scale delivery. All 24 precision assembly processes on the line have been digitized, increasing efficiency by more than 50% compared with traditional methods. In addition, 77 inspection and testing procedures ensure that every robot rolling off the line is stable and reliable. The line also features highly flexible assembly capabilities, allowing adjustments to workstation configuration and production-line length as needed. It supports mixed-line production of multiple models and products, which will strongly support the large-scale development of the humanoid robotics industry. The line was jointly developed by Dongfang Precision and Leju Robotics.

The humanoid robotics industry is rapidly moving from the laboratory toward large-scale applications. The expansion of large-scale manufacturing capacity will help lower per-unit costs and speed up technological iteration, paving the way for humanoid robots to be deployed in scenarios such as manufacturing and commercial services.

Supported by a well-developed industrial chain, diverse application scenarios, and a steadily improving policy environment, Guangdong is gradually building cluster advantages in the field of intelligent robotics. The commissioning of this production line with an annual capacity exceeding 10,000 units not only highlights Guangdong's pioneering progress in humanoid robot manufacturing but also provides fresh momentum for the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing and the development of new quality productive forces.
