From March 22nd to 30th, the China Development Forum 2026, the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2026, and the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum were held in succession. On March 30th, the World Data Organization(WDO) was officially established in Beijing. The launch of the organization signals to the world that China not only serves as a "stabilizing anchor" for the global economy with its steady growth, but also contributes "China's solutions" to building fair and equitable international rules, and provides a "compass" for the future governance of the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and other emerging fields.

Jack Perry, chairman of the UK-based 48 Group Club, a member organization of the WDO, shared his reflections, "Data has no borders — it moves in the cloud — but it can also become a source of fragmentation. That is why we must work together. What I see is China trying to address this and find ways to make the benefits of the digital economy more inclusive."

At the China Development Forum in Beijing, Perry also asserted: "Either you go to China, or you get left behind."

Perry noted that the world is entering a new phase driven by technology. China is demonstrating leadership across key sectors expected to reshape industries worldwide. The 48 Group Club is expanding its focus on robotics and artificial intelligence to align with China's innovation capabilities and deepen cooperation with Chinese companies. He added that the group is also committed to connecting Chinese and foreign enterprises, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise between both sides.

世界数据组织于3月30日在北京成立，外国企业家断言“不来中国就会被时代抛下”

3月22日至30日，中国发展高层论坛、博鳌亚洲论坛年会以及中关村论坛年会相继举行。3月30日，世界数据组织在北京正式成立。该组织的成立向世界宣告，中国不仅能以稳健经济充当全球“稳定锚”，更为构建公平合理的国际规则贡献“中国方案”，为数字经济与人工智能等“未来治理”提供“指南针”。

世界数据组织会员单位英国48家集团主席杰克·佩里深有感触：“数据没有国界，它们在云端流动，但与此同时，它们也可能成为制造隔阂的因素，因此我们必须携起手来。我看到中国正在直面问题，寻找让数字经济发展成果更普惠的解决方案。”

在北京举办的中国发展高层论坛上，杰克·佩里也曾断言：“你要么就去中国，要不然就会被时代抛在身后。”

杰克·佩里表示，世界正迈入以技术驱动的新阶段。中国正在多个关键领域处于领先地位，将深刻影响全球产业走向。集团正通过布局机器人与人工智能相关产业，对接中国创新能力，与中国企业开展更深层次合作。他表示，将致力于搭建中国与西方企业间的沟通桥梁，促进双方知识与技术的对接。
