On March 28th and 29th,2026, a historic moment unfolded at the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) in Portugal. ZXMOTO secured two consecutive wins in the Supersport (SSP) class with its fully Chinese-developed 820RR-RS motorcycle. The result ended nearly three decades of dominance of European,　American and Japanese brands in the class and marked the first-ever race win for a Chinese motorcycle brand in this premier global competition.

On the track, the Chinese-built motorcycle demonstrated formidable racing strength, leading from start to finish in the opening race and crossing the line with a commanding advantage of more than 3.6 seconds. Experts noted that in the WSBK SSP class, a lead of over three seconds is regarded as a dominant performance. The victory has definitively shattered the long-held stereotype of Chinese motorcycles as "low-price and low-quality." It marks a qualitative leap forward, from catching up to leading, in China's development of mid- and large-displacement, high-performance motorcycle powertrains and complete vehicle manufacturing.

In China's domestic motorcycle industry landscape, a well-established pattern has taken shape, with Chongqing in the north and Jiangmen in the south serving as two major hubs. The two regions complement each other's strengths, working in coordination to produce high-quality motorcycles and expand into global markets. As a key technology hub for mid- and large-displacement motorcycles, Chongqing has long focused on core areas such as independent development of high-performance engines, providing essential powertrain technologies to drive the industry to move upmarket. Jiangmen, in Guangdong Province, is home to more than 110 motorcycle and parts enterprises above the designated size and 24 complete vehicle manufacturers, forming a highly efficient industrial supply chain in which key components can be sourced within a 30-minute radius. As a result, Jiangmen boasts outstanding strengths in scaled manufacturing and industrial clustering. By the end of 2025, Jiangmen's motorcycle industry chain generated a total output value of over 41.8 billion yuan, up more than 23% year on year. Annual motorcycle production exceeded 5.43 million units, with exports accounting for nearly one-quarter of the national total. In terms of industrial scale and foreign trade competitiveness, Jiangmen consistently ranks among the top in China.

赛场上，国产赛车展现出强劲竞技实力，在首场正赛中全程领跑，以超过3.6秒的悬殊优势冲线。专家评价，在WSBK SSP组别赛事中，领先3秒以上属于绝对统治级表现。此次夺冠彻底撕掉了国产摩托“低价低端”的固有标签，标志着我国中大排量高端摩托动力研发与整车制造实现了从跟跑到领跑“质的飞跃”。

在国内摩托车产业版图中，“北有重庆，南有江门”的格局早已形成，两地优势互补，协同打造精品整车，合力开拓全球市场。重庆作为国内中大排量摩托车的技术策源地，深耕高性能发动机自主研发等核心领域，为产业高端化升级输出核心动力技术。广东江门则拥有超110家规上摩托车及零部件配套企业、24家整车制造厂，打造出上下游产业链高效协同的“半小时配套圈”，规模化制造与产业集群优势十分突出。2025年，江门摩托车产业链总产值突破418亿元，同比增幅超23%，年产整车超543万辆，出口份额接近全国四分之一，产业规模与外贸竞争力稳居全国前列。
