Following Guangdong's unified deployment of the "Guangdong Goods Global Reach" Spring Edition, Shaoguan's agricultural exports have secured a new export order. At noon on January 23rd, a truck loaded with 21 tonnes of black-skinned winter melons departed from the cold-chain warehousing distribution center for agricultural products of the Decai Vegetable Specialized Cooperative in Wengyuan County. This consignment of winter melons is bound for the ports of Shenzhen and will be shipped by sea to the Netherlands, where it will ultimately end up on the tables of European consumers.

The exported batch, supplied by Guangdong Decai Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., weighs 21 tonnes and contains about 2,000 "Heibao No.1" black-skinned winter melons. Currently, the company cultivates more than 500 mu (1 mu ≈ 0.0667 hectare) of melons and other crops, including about 100 mu dedicated to winter melons, with an average yield of around 10,000 kilograms per mu.

Li Decai, the chairman of Guangdong Decai Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., said that they selected the "Heibao No. 1" black-skinned winter melon for export because of its long shelf life and better quality compared with other winter melon varieties. He added that, on February 15th, the company plans to ship one container (about 22 tonnes) of winter melons to the Netherlands as it continues to deepen its presence in the European market and steadily expand exports.

According to regulations, China's black-skinned winter melons exported to the European Union must meet strict specifications and standards, including an individual fruit length not exceeding 60 centimeters and a weight not exceeding 12 kilograms. This batch was packed two to a carton, with total weight per carton kept below 24 kilograms, fully compliant with EU standards.

In recent years, Wengyuan County has vigorously developed its vegetable industry. The county's total vegetable planting area has now reached 200,000 mu, with total output value exceeding 4 billion yuan.

乘“广货行天下”东风，韶关蔬菜叩开欧洲市场大门

乘着全省统一部署“广货行天下”春季行动的东风，韶关农产品出海再添新单。1月23日中午，装载着21吨黑皮冬瓜的货车从翁源县德财蔬菜专业合作社农产品冷链仓储配送中心驶出，这批黑皮冬瓜将从深圳港口海运至荷兰，最终被端上欧洲消费者的餐桌。

本次出口的“黑宝1号”黑皮冬瓜总计21吨、共2000个，由广东德财农业发展有限公司供应。目前该企业瓜果种植面积超过500亩，其中冬瓜种植面积约100亩，亩产约1万公斤。

“我们选择‘黑宝1号’黑皮冬瓜作为出口品种，是因为它耐储存，品质也优于其他种类的冬瓜。”广东德财农业发展有限公司董事长李德财表示，2月15日，企业还将发运一个货柜、约22吨的冬瓜至荷兰，持续深耕欧洲市场，稳步扩大出口规模。

据介绍，我国出口欧盟的黑皮冬瓜有严格的规格标准，其中单瓜长度不得超过60厘米，重量不得超过12公斤。此次出口的冬瓜按每箱2个包装，单箱总重控制在24公斤以内，完全符合欧盟标准。

近年来，翁源县大力发展蔬菜产业，目前全县蔬菜种植面积已达20万亩，产值超40亿元。
