As a key supporting event of the 2026 Online Chinese New Year's Shopping Festival organized by China's Ministry of Commerce, the launch campaign of the 5th China Import and Export Food New Year Goods Festival, together with the media-driven New Year Goods Going-Global Initiative (collectively referred to as the "New Year Goods Festival"), was held in Guangzhou on the 23rd. The series of activities will run until February 5th.
Maoming Lixiaoshi Food Co., Ltd. showcased its "Guifei Lychee Ice Cream." Leveraging Maoming's reputation as the "hometown of lychees," this frozen dessert, developed using lychee pulp and puree from the core production areas of Gaozhou, has expanded its sales network to more than 30 cities. It is now available in 20,000 Meiyijia convenience stores across China and has even hit the shelves at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

As an ancient fruit, lychee is seeing its global journey profoundly reshaped by the power of technology. At the event, the "Yunshihui" AI-powered Guangdong Flavors Going-Global Initiative was officially released, and the 2026 global pre-order procurement channel for Guangdong lychees under the "Oriental Fruit of Love" brand was launched simultaneously.
The tilapia New Year gift box sets exhibited by Maoming Supply and Marketing Fisheries Co., Ltd. feature innovative designs with bilingual labeling in Chinese and English. According to the company's sales manager, the firm has signed framework agreements for annual exports exceeding 350 containers, with a primary focus on markets in Italy, the United States, and Africa.
Flavors from around the world are also flowing into Guangdong. Bekar Mikaberidz, Official Representative of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Guangdong, brought Georgian wines to the New Year Goods Festival. As a long-time participant in the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), he is also well acquainted with Foshan furniture and Zhongshan lighting products, and has brought many high-quality Guangdong-made products back to Georgia market.
Bekar's work illustrates another dimension of Guangdong-made products going global: beyond exporting physical products, it highlights Guangdong's role as an international trade hub that connects China's manufacturing with global markets, while also introducing premium global products into China, thereby creating a virtuous cycle of "buying globally and selling globally".

从一颗荔枝、一条鱼,看“广货”如何飘香全球
作为商务部“购在中国”2026年全国网上年货节的重要响应活动,第五届中国进出口食品年货节暨“媒体+‘广货行天下·全球开利是’年货出海”(以下简称“年货节”)启动活动23日在穗举行。系列活动将持续至2月5日。
茂名荔小视食品有限公司带来“贵妃荔枝冰淇淋”。立足茂名“荔枝之乡”优势,使用高州核心产区荔枝果肉与原浆研发的这款冰品,销售网络已拓展至30多座城市,入驻了全国2万家美宜佳便利店,甚至在广州白云机场设立了点位。

世界味道也在涌入广东。格鲁吉亚工商会驻广东省代表主席贝卡带来了格鲁吉亚的美酒。身为“老广交”的他,对佛山家具、中山灯具也如数家珍,将众多广货优品带回格鲁吉亚。
贝卡的工作,诠释了广货出海的另一面:不仅是实物商品的出口,更作为国际贸易枢纽,连接中国制造与全球市场,同时将世界精品引入国内,实现“买全球、卖全球”的良性循环。
