Art and Culture | The 23rd Teochew International Convention was held in Chaozhou from November 28 to 30, bringing together nearly 1,800 representatives from 165 Teochew associations worldwide who returned to their ancestral home from afar to celebrate their shared heritage. On the afternoon of November 29, an immersive cultural experience unfolded vibrantly in the ancient city, featuring lively lion dances, graceful carp dances, and the resonating beats of the 24 Solar Terms drums. Centered around six interactive elements—welcoming ceremonies, tea gatherings, local cuisine tasting, leisurely strolls, opera performances, and specialty shopping—the returning Teochew descendants rediscovered cherished memories of home in one familiar scene after another.#artandculture
