On November 11th, representatives from the Canton Tower addressed public concerns regarding the lighting's duration, design concept, and other key questions.

Canton Tower has unveiled two new "themed light shows", including the "National Games" themed light show debuted on November 6th, alongside the newly launched "New Rhythms of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA)" daily lighting display, which was illuminated simultaneously. The "National Games" lighting show runs for 5 minutes and 45 seconds, featuring a three-color palette of "sea-sky sunset, lotus pink, and lotus-leaf green". Through four chapters—"Blooming," "Glory," "Climbing," and "Starry Sky"—it not only pays tribute to the spirit of sportsmanship but also conveys the city's vitality and warmth, symbolizing the enduring legacy of the spirit of the National Games.

The "New Rhythms of the GBA" light show lasts about 4 minutes and 20 seconds and consists of six chapters, including "Tides Surge," "Graceful Dance," "Gathering Momentum," "United Hearts," "Stellar River," and "Splendid Chapter." Blending the essence of Lingnan culture with the spirit of our times in the GBA, it alternates with classic light shows to showcase Guangzhou's unique charm of blending ancient and modern, and connecting China with the world.

Regarding the lighting duration most frequently asked by social media users, the representative explained that the exclusive lighting for the 15th National Games will run through December 20th. "New Rhythms of the GBA" has been officially activated as the daily lighting display since November 6th and will be featured in a long-term rotation alongside the classic "Xiaomanyao" light show.

As for the design concept, the representative noted that the lighting draws inspiration from Lingnan's natural and cultural landscapes, transforming motifs such as the awakening lion and Pearl River ripples into light and shadow codes. The chapter of "United Hearts" further employs light arrays to simulate the currents of Lingdingyang, offering an artistic expression of geographical imagery. Looking ahead, the Canton Tower will explore the integration of technologies such as AR and VR with its light shows. By blending traditional aesthetics with international concepts, it remains committed to providing an enhanced environment and services for the city and its residents.

近日，广州塔全新主题灯光惊艳亮相，“全运会限定皮肤”凭借高颜值收获网友一众好评，纷纷呼吁将其作为日常灯光。11月11日，广州塔有关负责人就灯光存续时间、设计理念等问题回应了公众关切。

据介绍，此次广州塔共推出两款新“主题皮肤”：6日亮相的“全运会”主题灯光，以及同步点亮的“湾区新韵”主题全新日常灯光。其中，“全运会”主题灯光时长5分45秒，紧扣“海天霞、菡萏粉、芰荷绿”三色主题，通过“绽放、荣耀、攀登、星空”四个篇章，既致敬体育拼搏精神，又传递城市活力与温度，象征全运精神的永恒传承。

“湾区新韵”主题灯光时长约4分20秒，分为“潮涌、蹁跹、聚势、同心、星河、华章”六个篇章，融汇岭南文化精粹与大湾区时代精神，将与经典灯光交替上演，诠释广州古今交融、联通中外的城市气韵。

关于网友最关心的“灯光存续时间”，负责人表示，“全运会”专属灯光将持续至12月20日；“湾区新韵”作为日常灯光已于11月6日正式启用，将长期与经典版“小蛮腰”灯光轮播。

谈及设计理念，负责人称，灯光灵感源自岭南自然与人文景观，将醒狮纹样、珠江水纹等转化为光影编码，“同心”篇章更以光阵模拟伶仃洋水流，实现地理意象的艺术表达。未来，广州塔还将探索AR、VR等科技与光影的融合，以传统美学结合国际理念，持续致力为城市、市民提供更美好的环境与服务。
