Coventry said the ceremony was mind-blowing, noting that she observed combined elements of technology, culture, and sports. Regarding her itinerary in Guangzhou, she described Guangzhou as a wonderful city where she had met many incredible people and had an enjoyable time during her visit.
On the afternoon of November 10th, Bach, former IOC President and current Honorary President for Life, also arrived at the Nansha Sports Center to watch the Wushu Taolu event. After the competition, he entered the arena to interact with the athletes and later took part in the award ceremony, presenting medals to athletes.
In an interview at the Nansha Sports Center, Bach said the opening ceremony was mind-blowing. Like Coventry, Bach also used the word "mind-blowing" to describe the opening ceremony of the 15th National Games on the evening of November 9th. He remarked that the ceremony was a unique combination of Chinese culture, technology, and sportsmanship. Having attended many different opening ceremonies, he commented that the one for the 15th National Games was really special.

在南沙体育馆内，巴赫接受媒体采访，“开幕式让我感到震撼！”和考文垂一样，巴赫用了“震撼”去形容11月9日晚的十五运会开幕式。巴赫表示，开幕式把中国的文化、科技、体育完美地结合在一起。他表示自己虽然看过很多各种各样的开幕式，但十五运会的开幕式很特别。
