"This is Guangdong's lingzhi mushroom, a symbol of wellness and blessing."The debut of the "Yuelin+" exhibition zone of forest products at the China Import and Export Fair(Canton Fair) brought Guangdong's non-timber forest products into close contact with global buyers.

"I heard that a gift box of tea bags made from ingredients such as longan, goji berries, and astragalus sells for 60 yuan in China but can reach 60 dollars on the international market. The potential in the health and wellness sector is truly remarkable,"said a representative from one of the exhibiting companies, describing the experience as "opening a whole new door."

When the company proudly brought giant lingzhi mushrooms to the venue, some overseas buyers were puzzled and asked whether they were simply large mushrooms. Meanwhile, Indian buyers showed keen interest in cinnamon but expressed "confusion"about lingzhi mushrooms. This highlights that "Yuelin+"must translate the profound ecological culture of Lingnan into a language the world can understand.

Interestingly, the cool reception for lingzhimushroomscontrasts sharply with the rising popularity of agarwood. Buyers from Europe and the Middle East carefully examined various agarwood products at the "Yuelin+" exhibition zone. An exhibitor representative from Huizhou explained that in the Middle East, agarwood is considered one of the highest forms of hospitality. He noted that Middle Eastern buyers showed strong interest inproducts such as agarwood essential oils, agarwood tea, and agarwood incense.

Two companies—one from Zhaoqing and the other from Huizhou—both working in the agarwood industry, had never met before but found common ground on the "Yuelin+"platform. "We exchange technologies, share information, and jointly plan market strategies,"said a representative from the Zhaoqing company. "'Yuelin+'has made us realize that only through collaboration can Guangdong premium products reach a global audience."

灵芝“遇冷”沉香“走红”

“这是我们广东的灵芝，它代表着养生与祝福。”首次亮相广交会的“粤林+”林产品展区，让广东林下产品与世界市场有了一次“亲密接触”。

“听说一款桂圆枸杞黄芪等原料的茶包礼盒在国内卖60元，而在国际市场能卖到60美元。大健康领域的潜力真的很大。”相关参展企业负责人坦言，这次参展仿佛“打开了一扇全新的大门”。

当企业满怀自豪地将巨型灵芝搬到现场，部分海外客商却好奇地询问：“这是一朵大蘑菇吗？”一旁，印度采购商对肉桂兴趣浓厚，却对灵芝表示“不理解”。这也提示着“粤林+”需要将深厚的岭南生态文化，转化为世界听得懂的语言。

有趣的是，灵芝“遇冷”与沉香“走红”形成鲜明对比。来自欧洲和中东的客商在“粤林+”展位前仔细端详各类沉香产品。“在中东，使用沉香是最高等级的待客之礼，”一位惠州参展商代表老张告诉记者，中东客商对沉香精油、沉香茶、沉香香熏等产品表现出浓厚兴趣。

一家肇庆企业与一家惠州企业，同样从事沉香产业，原本素不相识，却在“粤林+”平台上相谈甚欢。“我们交流技术、共享信息、共同规划市场。”肇庆企业代表说，“‘粤林+’让我们意识到，携手合作才能让‘广东好物’走得更远。”
