On October 10th, the Qianzhan General Terminal operated by State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) was officially opened. It is Jieyang's first general-purpose terminal approved for external shipping. During its planning and design phase, the terminal systematically integrated the transportation needs of large offshore wind power components, and efforts were made to establish an exclusive, high-efficiency logistics channel for offshore wind power equipment, making it the first "wind power home port" in eastern Guangdong.

Located on China's southeastern coast, the Qianzhan General Terminal covers a land area of 220,000 square meters. It is equipped with one 70,000-ton-class general berth, one 3,000-ton-class general berth, and one berth for working vessels. Supporting infrastructure includes breakwaters, revetments, container yards, warehouses, and other facilities. With a 40-meter-wide port access road running directly to the terminal, the terminal features a designed annual throughput capacity of 3.25 million tonnes.

The terminal's core business focuses on the handling of offshore engineering equipment and the operation and maintenance of maritime facilities. It serves the marine engineering industrial chain while also providing loading, unloading, and warehousing services for bulk and general cargo. The terminal aims to ensure efficient logistics for bulk commodities and to become a key regional hub linking the marine industry with the land-based economy.

In recent years, Jieyang's marine economy has expanded rapidly. In 2024, the city's gross ocean product (GOP) reached 45.2 billion yuan, up 19.4% year on year. Huilai county has become the main area for the city's marine economic development. So far, 40 enterprises have settled in the Huilai Lingang Industrial Park, with a total investment of 180 billion yuan. Key marine industries, including offshore wind power, hydrogen energy storage, marine ranching, and marine engineering equipment, are gathering momentum.

粤东首个“风电母港”正式开放

10月10日，国家电投前詹通用码头正式开放。该码头是揭阳市首个对外开放的通用码头，在规划设计阶段，即系统性融入海上风电大部件运输要素，着力搭建海上风电装备高效转运专属通道，成为粤东首个“风电母港”。

国家电投前詹通用码头地处中国东南沿海，港区陆域总面积达到22万平方米，配套建设7万吨级和3000吨级通用泊位各1个，工作船泊位1个，并建有防波堤、护岸、港区后方堆场及仓库等设施，拥有40米宽临港大道直通码头，年设计吞吐量324.6万吨。

该码头以海工装备装卸、海上设备运维为核心业务，聚焦海洋工程产业链，兼顾散货、杂货装卸与仓储，高效保障大宗商品物流，力争成为区域衔接海洋产业与陆地经济的重要枢纽。

近年来，揭阳海洋经济规模加速增长，2024年全市海洋生产总值为452亿元，同比增长19.4%。惠来县是揭阳海洋经济发展的主战场，目前惠来临港产业园已落户企业40家、总投资达1800亿元，海上风电、氢能储能、海洋牧场、海工装备等海洋经济产业加速集聚。
