On October 10th local time, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) World-class Tourist Destination Promotion Conference and the "New Dimensions of Guangdong Animation and Trendy Toys Exhibition" were held in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan. Over 10,000 visitors attended the Trend Toys Exhibition on its opening day. Through industry dialogues, cultural tourism promotions, and cultural and artistic performances, the event showcased the unique charm of the GBA as a world-class tourism destination to the Japanese public.

The animation exhibition zone featured about 50 works by renowned animation artists from both China and Japan. The trendy toy section displayed iconic original IP products from Guangdong, including Boonie Bears, GG Bond, and Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf. A special "Capital of China's Designer Toys" zone was also set up, featuring over 50 products from nearly 10 leading trendy toy companies in Dongguan, including ToyCity's flagship IP Laura, and Piececool's Dancing Lion and One Thousand Angle Lantern.

The year 2025 marks the China-Japan-South Korea Cultural Exchange Year. Renowned Japanese manga artist Osamu Tezuka once created "Sun Wukong and Astro Boy Hand in Hand", with the manuscript bearing the inscription "May the animation industries of China and Japan remain friends forever." Jin Cheng, Chairman of the Guangdong Cartoonists Association and publisher of the simplified Chinese edition of "Astro Boy", specially created "Sun Wukong and Astro Boy" for this exhibition, depicting Sun Wukong and Astro Boy high-fiving.

"I'm glad that China is holding such an exhibition here. Exchanges between China and Japan in the animation sector are crucial," said a Japanese anime enthusiast, who paused to admire the works. He was particularly drawn to the displayed artwork of "Monkey King: Hero Is Back," noting, "This image of Sun Wukong here is quite different and unique from what I've seen before. 'Journey to the West' and Sun Wukong are extremely popular in Japan, and multiple Japanese anime are inspired by them." Takayuki Matsutani, President of Tezuka Productions, remarked that China's rapid development in the animation industry is truly impressive. "The fact that Guangdong can host this Trend Toys Exhibition in Tokyo further demonstrates the current level of advancement in China's animation sector," he said.

广东动漫潮玩闪现东京秋叶原！超万名游客为广东IP驻足点赞

当地时间10月10日，粤港澳大湾区世界级旅游目的地推介会（以下简称推介会）暨“粤动新次元”动漫潮玩展（以下简称潮玩展）在日本东京秋叶原举行，超万人参观了当天的潮玩展。活动通过同业对话、文旅推介、文艺展演等多维方式，向日本社会展示粤港澳大湾区作为世界级旅游目的地的独特魅力。

动漫展区展示中日动漫名家作品约50幅。潮玩展区展示了熊出没、猪猪侠、喜羊羊与灰太狼等来自广东的代表性原创IP潮玩产品，同时设置“中国潮玩之都”东莞专区，东莞带来近10家头部潮玩企业的50余件（套）产品，包括ToyCity的王牌IP Laura和拼酷的醒狮、千角灯等。

2025年是中日韩文化交流年。日本著名漫画家手冢治虫先生曾创作《孙悟空牵手阿童木》，手稿写有“中国与日本动画界永远友好”字样。广东省动漫艺术家协会主席金城作为简体中文版漫画《铁臂阿童木》出版人，专门为此次展览创作《孙悟空与阿童木》，这次孙悟空和阿童木在漫画里击掌“合体”。

“我很高兴中国来这里举办这样的展览，中国和日本在动漫领域的交流是很重要的。”一位驻足欣赏的日本动漫迷说，他非常喜欢现场展出的《大圣归来》画作，“孙悟空的形象和我之前看到的不太一样很特别，《西游记》和孙悟空在日本十分知名，日本也围绕这个主题创作了很多动漫作品。”日本株式会社手冢制作公司董事长松谷孝征表示，中国动漫发展迅速，令人印象深刻，“广东能够到东京举办这次动漫潮玩展，更加证明了现在中国动漫的发展程度”。
