According to preliminary estimates, on the second day of this year's National Day holiday, October 2nd, Guangdong's 4A-level and above scenic spots received 4.615 million visits. Meanwhile, 14 monitored key areas along ancient post roads welcomed 616,000 tourists, and 100 monitored rural tourism sites and historic villages received 407,000 visits.

On October 2nd, the Guangzhou Red Bean Cantonese Opera Troupe　of the Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Theater　staged the traditional set piece of Cantonese Opera "Grand Birthday Celebration at Mount Heung Fa"and the Cantonese opera "Forty Years of Cherished Love"at the Cultural Square of Linwu Village, Yangmei Town, Huazhou City, attracting an estimated audience of about 5,000.

The Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center hosted the "Chinese Folk Culture Expo 2025 and Chaoshan Folk Culture Expo," which brought together distinctive Chaoshan cultural elements and folk traditions. The event offered an in-depth exploration and showcase of the region's rich and colorful folk culture, presenting a spectacular cultural feast for citizens and tourists alike. During the first two days of the holiday, daily attendance exceeded 10,000 visitors.

The 2025 Shantou "Sounds of Chaoshan" Music Week kicked off on October 2nd, featuring the "Chinese Battle Dance" Yingge dance. Its powerful steps, interwoven with the sound of ocean waves, together with flash mobs and parades, created a dazzling cultural symbol.

Various cities also organized a wide range of rural cultural tourism activities. In Qingyuan, the "11th Qingyuan Liannan Rice Field Fish Cultural Festival" opened on the morning of October 2nd with a "Fun Fishing for All" event, attracting more than 10,000 participants.

黄金周第二天，广东4A级及以上景区迎客461.5万人次

据初步测算，今年国庆假期第二天（10月2日），全省4A级及以上景区接待游客461.5万人次；纳入监测的14段古驿道沿线重点区域接待游客61.6万人次；纳入监测的100个乡村旅游点和历史古村落接待游客40.7万人次。

10月2日，广州粤剧院广州红豆粤剧团在化州市杨梅镇林屋村文化广场演出粤剧传统例戏《贺寿》、粤剧《梦断香销四十年》，预计观众人数约5000人。

汕头国际会展中心举办“华夏民俗文化周暨潮汕民俗文化博览会”，汇聚潮汕特色文化元素及民俗精粹，深度挖掘、集中展示潮汕地区瑰丽多姿的民俗文化，为市民和游客奉上一场精彩纷呈的文化盛宴，两天假期每日入场人数超1万人。

2025汕头·潮南醉潮音乐周10月2日开幕，“中华战舞”英歌舞以刚劲舞步与海浪声交织，快闪与巡游轮番上演，成为耀眼的文化符号。

各地市还组织开展了丰富的乡村文化旅游活动，清远市“广东・连南第十一届瑶排梯田稻田鱼文化季”10月2日上午举行开幕式暨“全民渔乐活动”，参与人数超1万人次。
