On the first day of China's National Day holiday, Guangdong's cultural and tourism market saw a booming start. Estimates show that 2.784 million visits were received at 4A-level and above scenic spots across the province; 515,000 visits were received at 14 monitored key areas along ancient post roads; and 282,000 visits were received at 100 monitored rural tourism sites and historic villages.

"Dunhuang Splendors: Culture and Art Exhibition of Mogao Grottoes" in Shenzhen drew large crowds of citizens and tourists. As the largest Dunhuang-themed exhibition in South China, featuring the richest variety of exhibits and the most cultural relics, it has attracted a steady stream of visitors since its opening. Immersed in the artistry of murals and sculptures, citizens and tourists engaged in a dialogue with Dunhuang civilization spanning thousands of years.

During the holiday, public cultural service venues were open free of charge, with a variety of activities such as square dancing performances and intangible cultural heritage (ICH) workshops widely held. Chaozhou launched eastern Guangdong's first immersive stage play featuring ICH elements,"The Great Tide Returns: Dreaming of Chaozhou," showcasing the contemporary charm of Chaozhou's ICH.

The "2025 Foshan Coffee Culture Week" kicked off at Shunfeng Mountain Park, where 300 baristas, latte art champions, and inheritors of ICH successfully set a new Guinness World Record for "most people making coffee simultaneously." In Zhongshan, the opening ceremony of the"Golden Land" 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) Pop Music Week and the 17th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Zhongshan) was held. Meanwhile, the 33rd Macao International Fireworks Display Contest, held on National Day, featured four internationally-leading pyrotechnic companies from China, Portugal, the Philippines, and Japan.

黄金周首日：广东4A级及以上景区接待游客278.4万人次

国庆假期首日，广东文旅市场迎来火热开局！据测算，全省4A级及以上景区接待游客278.4万人次；纳入监测的14段古驿道沿线重点区域接待游客51.5万人次；纳入监测的100个乡村旅游点和历史古村落接待游客28.2万人次。

深圳的“大成敦煌——敦煌文化艺术大展”吸引众多市民和游客驻足。作为华南地区规模最大、展品最丰富、文物数量最多的敦煌文化艺术大展，展览自开幕以来参观者络绎不绝。市民和游客在壁画和雕塑的艺术魅力中，与跨越千年的敦煌文明展开对话。

节日期间，公共文化场所免费开放，广场舞展演及非遗传承实践等活动广泛开展。潮州市推出粤东首部非遗沉浸式舞台剧《大潮归来・入梦潮州》，展现潮州非遗的时代魅力。

“2025佛山咖啡文化周”在顺峰山公园启动，300名咖啡主理人、拉花冠军和非遗传承人成功挑战“最多人同时冲煮咖啡”吉尼斯世界纪录；中山市举办“金色大地”2025粤港澳大湾区（中山）流行音乐周暨第十七届中国-葡语国家文化周（中山站）开幕式；第33届澳门国际烟花比赛汇演（国庆专场）吸引中、葡、菲、日四国烟花公司参赛。
