The popularity of "China Travel" continues to surge this year. On August 6th, it was revealed that the number of inbound and outbound travelers at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport had surpassed 10 million in 2025.

According to statistics, Baiyun Airport has added or resumed 18 scheduled international flights, welcomed 5 new international airlines stationed at the airport, and opened 2 new international flight destinationsthis year. Currently, around 75 international passenger routes and 46 international cargo routes operate each week. The total number of international passenger and cargo flights inspected by Baiyun Frontier Inspection Station has exceeded 67,000, underscoring the rising influx of international visitors to Guangzhou.

So far this year, Baiyun Frontier Inspection Station has processed over 3.82 million foreign travelers, a year-on-year increase of approximately 37.4%, accounting for 38.2% of all inbound and outbound travelers. Among them, more than 760,000 foreign travelers entered China under visa-free entry policies, a year-on-year increase of about 123.5%, making up 46.7% of all inbound foreign travelers. Nearly 50,000 travelers benefited from visa-free transit policies, a 25.6% increase year-on-year. Additionally, over 500,000 international transit passengers were able to enjoy the 24-hour direct transit without border inspection service.

“中国游”持续火爆！广州白云机场口岸出入境外国旅客超382万

今年以来，“中国游”持续火爆。8月6日，记者了解到，广州白云机场口岸实现2025年出入境人员突破1000万人次。

据统计，白云机场口岸今年已新增和恢复定期国际客运航线18条、新增驻场国际航空公司5家、新增国际通航点2个，约75条国际客运航线、46条国际货运航线每周运营；白云边检站查验的国际客货航班总量已超6.7万架次，广州国际游客热度明显提升。

据介绍，今年以来，广州白云边检站已查验外国旅客超382万人次，同比增长约37.4%，占出入境旅客总数的38.2%。其中，查验免签入境外国旅客超76万人次，同比增长约123.5%，占入境外国旅客总量的46.7%；近5万人次外国旅客享受到过境免签政策便利，同比增长25.6%；保障超50万人次的国际中转旅客享受24小时直接过境免办边检手续过境。
