Starting July 10th, the Health Commission of Guangdong Province launched the AI-assisted medical image interpretation system known as "Yueyi Zhiying" across its telemedicine platform. The system currently supports seven types of examinations: AI-assisted diagnosis of pulmonary nodules via CT, CT-based bone density assessment, intelligent CT screening for pneumonia and rib fractures, intelligent DR screening for tuberculosis, AI-assisted diagnosis of limb fractures via DR, and CT-based coronary artery calcium scoring. All services are provided free of charge to healthcare institutions across the province.

According to reports, while traditional manual interpretation of medical images typically takes about 30 minutes, this AI system leverages powerful computational capabilities and optimization algorithms to complete analysis and generate structured reports in just 2 seconds. In terms of efficiency, the system can process the equivalent of a full day's workload of 150 human radiologists from a top-tier hospital in just one hour.

"Now doctors at our hospital use the 'Yueyi Zhiying' system to read scans for patients from local township-level clinics, which standardizes test results and reduces unnecessary travel and duplicate tests for patients," said Xu Fengyong, president of Heping County People's Hospital.

Huang Shengzhou, head of the hospital's radiology department with 30 years of experience, said, "In the past, all image interpretation had to be done manually. Now, AI acts like a second pair of eyes for doctors, supplementing image details and demonstrating greater sensitivity in detecting subtle features. This helps avoid missed or incorrect diagnoses and significantly improves our work efficiency."

7月10日起，广东省卫健委基于远程医疗平台部署人工智能辅助影像阅片系统（“粤医智影”）全面上线。当前，“粤医智影”涵盖CT肺结节人工智能辅助诊断、骨密度CT影像辅助检测、CT肺炎智能筛查、CT肋骨骨折智能筛查、DR肺结核智能筛查、DR四肢骨折辅助诊断以及CT冠脉钙化积分共7项检查，免费提供给全省医疗卫生机构使用。

据了解，相比传统人工阅片平均用时30分钟，该系统依托强大算力与优化算法，可在2秒内完成阅片分析并生成结构化报告，每小时完成的阅片量相当于三甲医院150名影像科医生全天的工作量。

“现在县人民医院医生用‘粤医智影’系统为县域内卫生院患者阅片，检验检查结果同质化，让患者少跑路，还减少了重复检查。”和平县人民医院院长徐丰涌介绍道。

该院影像科主任黄胜周从业30年，他说：“以前看片都要人工看，现在AI就像医生的第二只眼睛，为我们的影像补充了细节，特别是对于细节筛查更加敏感，从诊断角度避免了漏诊和误诊，提高了工作效率。”
