On March 23rd, the 2025 Art Week Shenzhen kicked off at the Sea World Culture and Arts Center in Shekou. Now in its second edition, Art Week Shenzhen has grown in scale, featuring 69 local art institutions, including museums, galleries, non-profits, and studios. The city comes alive with nearly 80 exhibitions, including paintings, sculptures, and new media images. Expanding beyond conventional exhibition spaces, the event integrates exhibitions, salons, film screenings, open studios, and city walk programs into the city's art scene through regional collaboration and cross-sector partnerships.

Compared to its first edition, the number of participating institutions in Art Week this year has increased from over 40 to 69, including eight museums, 24 galleries, 25 multidisciplinary art organizations, and 12 artist studios, which reflects the thriving art ecosystem in Shenzhen.

Several significant exhibitions will take center stage during the Art Week. "Youhan and Yu Youhan: Yu Youhan's Early Experience and Late Style" hosted by Shenzhen Art Museum is a retrospective about artist Yu Youhan's creation journey which spans more than half a century, featuring over 100 works and archival materials. The Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning will present "Nature—Non-Nature", a solo exhibition by artist Xue Song, exploring three decades of his Pop Art-inspired creation. Meanwhile, the Sea World Culture and Arts Center will showcase "Quantum Jump", an immersive exhibition showing Li Shan's cross-media artistic explorations.

This year's Art Week introduces a new "Artist Studios" section, inviting the public to have a close look at art creation and experience the whole process of creating a work. Additionally, the "Art Roaming" section invites 13 art guides to curate 16 routes, leading visitors to explore the symbiotic relationship between Shenzhen's contemporary art scene and its urban cultural landscape.

2025深圳艺术周启幕，69家在地艺术机构将带来近80场艺术展览

3月23日，2025深圳艺术周在蛇口海上世界文化艺术中心拉开帷幕。本届艺术周汇聚69家美术馆、画廊、非营利艺术空间及艺术家工作室，带来近80场展览，涵盖绘画、雕塑装置、新媒体影像等多个领域。活动突破传统展览空间的界限，通过区域联动和跨界协同，将展览、沙龙、放映、艺术家工作室开放及艺术漫游等活动融入城市艺术脉络。  

相比首届，今年艺术周的参与机构从40余家增长至69家，包括8家美术馆、24家画廊、25家综合艺术机构及12个艺术家工作室，展现深圳艺术生态的蓬勃发展。  

艺术周期间，多个重磅展览将登陆深圳。深圳美术馆主办的《友涵与余友涵——余友涵的早期经验与晚期风格》回顾艺术家余友涵逾半世纪的创作历程，展出百余件作品及文献资料。深圳市当代艺术与城市规划馆推出艺术家薛松个展《自然-非然》，探索其波普风格的三十年创作生涯。海上世界文化艺术中心带来李山个展《量子跳跃》，以沉浸式方式展现其跨媒介创作。

今年艺术周新增“艺术家工作室”单元，邀请公众近距离接触艺术创作过程，感受作品诞生的全过程。此外，“艺术漫游”单元邀请13位艺游向导策划16条漫游路线，带领观众探索深圳当代艺术生态与城市文化景观的共生关系。
